"Man, its cloudy outside right now." Ethan says while resting against the window, overlooking the parking lot. Holding in a laugh after seeing a child eat shit trying to jump out of their father's lifted truck. "God's dead." Ander blurts out into the open store after a rude customer storms out, refused a restricted product for not having a valid ID. "I think that's how Easter works." Ethan mutters, before looking Ander in the eyes without a second thought.
It's safe to say that to two employees, even on a gloomy day and each equally frustrated with work, are friends. though if they have met in college or in even high school would have never been so. But though their lack of entertainment and seer boredom, have found comfort and joy in each other's quips and weird antics in the small gas station.
