Paloma: has met hate with hate

Halim: has met hate with love

Paloma: Hey you two.

Vyera: Paloma!! It's been like, two weeks since they had that council thing and--PARAGON'S BALLS, WHERE'S--

Halim: Your arm!! What happened?

Paloma: Long story. I've been sleeping the effects of this whole """Council""" thing off, no thanks to your folks *motions to Halim* being dumber than dirt. *mumbles* Some of mine too, fuckers.

Halim: Ouch. Hey, Iron Bull didn't meet up with all of you?

Vyera: ...Paloma, I don't like that look on your face. Where is he?

Paloma: ...Andruil, I can't.

Vy/Halim: ???

Paloma: GAH. Look, you dumb shemlen have grown on me, and YOU are obviously tupping the ox-man, and YOU look up to him like a brother. Ugh. *clears throat* Maybe it will be different for both of you. But please don't ask what happened to him. Because Dorian...his face...don't you make me tell you what happened.

Vy/Halim:

Vyera: Maybe it will be different.

Paloma: Maybe.

Paloma: Now you shems gonna help me finish this maraas-lok I don't want staring me in the face any more, or what???

Paloma nocks an arrow. Vyera has a blade in one hand and a flask in another. Halim stands in front of both, shield up, sword drawn.

Paloma: ...Alexius.

Vyera: Gatt. He’s kind of a turd.

Halim: owo

Vyera: 😊

Paloma: >:C

Vyera hugs him (well, the lower half of him) and clucks and grins and beams and asks a great many intimate questions. She has, down pat, the look of my large son has a girlfriend and I must know. EVERYTHING.

Paloma says nothing, just stares at him from across the room the whole time. Then quick as a bolt she’s on her feet and stalking toward them. She grabs Halim’s neckerchief and yanks.

“So you’re with the Seeker now,” she growls. At this distance he can see the points on her eyeteeth and smell the elfroot on her breath, the embrium she uses in her lip colour.

“Yes, ma’am.” (This is habit. Halim is twenty-three going on twenty-four and Paloma is only about five years older, but he still calls her ma’am. She just looks like one. Bull understands.)

“You love her.”

“Yes.”

“You...courted her.”

“Yes.”

“You’re going to stick by her.”

“Yes.”

“You love the Seeker, ox-man?”

“Yes.”

“You know what I’ll do if you ever, even once, hurt her?”

“No.” He swallows. “But I don’t intend to find out. Ma’am.”

Paloma holds his gaze for a few more tense seconds, dragon hunter staring down dragon, before releasing her grip. Halim reels backwards, off balance, one leg crashing into a nearby table.

02. Best friend

Paloma’s is her little brother Pietro. They’ve been nigh inseparable since the day he was born, and the first thing she does when she wakes up out of her Anchor-induced coma is make sure he and the rest of the clan are okay.

Vyera’s usual partner-in-crime in the Carta was a dude they nicknamed “Fingers”. She’s been calling him that so long, it’s a bit of an effort to remember his name is Finnegan. Sadly, the Carta had him eliminated.

Halim has always gotten along pretty well with Kaaris (in a really weirdo-and-straight-man kinda way), but the best friend he ever had was his cat Enan. He misses that cat.

So in other words all the friends are deeeeeeeeeeeead.

04. Favorite color

Red for Halim and Paloma, green for Vyera.

07. Turn-ons

Both the ladies enjoy rope-play to different degrees; Halim’s ears are very sensitive to touch and pressure.

08. Favorite food

Paloma enjoys roast duck, Vyera will shank a man for roast nug done well, and Halim, well, Halim likes ginger cookies.

20. Role Model

For Paloma it’s Mielle, the head hunter of Clan Lavellan; she’s silent, no-nonsense, and can put an arrow through a quarry’s eye like it’s nothing. If Paloma’s a firework, Mielle’s more of a heavy-duty flashlight.

Vy looks up to both her parents, who she knew tried their best to keep her out of the Carta’s clutches (for all the good that did). Much of what she did for the Carta was to keep them safe and stable.
