Oh yes, let me tell everyone more about my sassy fog warrior please! <3

Solas

1. Did your Inquisitor engage Solas academically with questions or were they uninterested in his experiences? Bekele likes having any advantage she can, and that means knowing all she can. Any information Solas was willing to give she listened to.

3. If your inquisitor was told they were “unlike others of their race” by Solas, how did they respond? Were they angry or grateful?  Bekele was not pleasant about it, at all. Being a Fog Warrior, and someone who considers herself that above being Qunari or “vashoth” as the Qunari would call her. She hates it when people put labels on her and others, or who try and say some people are better or inferior. 

“My kind? Oh, you mean the Qunari? The Vashoth? You do not consider the elves ‘your kind’, if I remember correctly. But I don’t consider myself separate from those names because I think myself above them somehow. That seems to be where you and I differ. I don’t think you’ve spent much time trying to know ‘my kind’. Elsewise you wouldn’t have said those words to me.”

5. What did they choose, stop Solas or attempt to redeem him, and what motivated their choice? Fear? Love? Bekele is here to stop Solas, plain and simple. She’ll feel bad if she has to kill him, but not bad enough not to, if it comes to that. She’s spent her whole life fighting people who think her lesser and not worth living, she won’t stop doing that now, and she won’t stop taking down those who think it.

Cole

3. Was Cole made more human or more spirit and why did your Inquisitor choose what they did? More human, because it seemed to be what Cole genuinely wanted, and what made him feel safest, not because she thought he was dangerous if he were more spirit-like. 

4. Did your Inquisitor become friends with Cole? Did Cole leave the Inquisition at any point, due to conflict with your Inquisitor? Bekele liked Cole. She actually enjoyed his propensity for reading and announcing the thoughts of others nearby; she found it amusing. She’d often have him go talk to Josie and then walk nearby and think something romantic (or risque) so he’d say it out loud to Josie and turn her into a blushing wreck. There were times when Bekele seemed coldly practical, and Cole didn’t agree, but she always talked with him about it, and it never escalated to him leaving. 

The Iron Bull

2. How did your Inquisitor react to the Chargers? Did they utilize them as allies or leave them to Bull? Bekele loved the chargers. She saw them as very similar to her friends and family among the fog warriors. She spent a lot of time in the tavern with them. 

4. Did they choose the chargers or the Qunari alliance? If they condemned the Chargers to death, how did they feel? Hahaha, Bekele dropped the Qunari alliance like a dead rat. She has always hated the Qunari, and honestly wanted nothing to do with them except for the fact that she could use the alliance to her benefit and the benefit of the fog warriors. 

5. Was Iron Bull a valuable member of the Inquisition to your Inquisitor? Did they speak to him often? Initially, Bekele and Bull did not get along at ALL. Mostly because they were on opposite sides of the rebellion in Seheron. Bekele’s unit were the ones that murdered his companions in the market square once. She still definitely found him valuable though, both for his information and his fighting skills. After he became Tal-Vashoth, the two became much closer. They have similar personalities, so it was good to finally be on a similar page. 

Vivienne

4. Was Vivienne ever considered a candidate for Divine by your Inquisitor? Why was, or why wasn’t, she made Divine by your Inquisitor? Nope. Bekele is very anti circle of magi, so Vivienne was never in the running for Divine. Honestly, if Bekele had her way, none of the three candidates she had to choose from would have been it, simply because she thinks the Chantry is shit.

5. How did your Inquisitor feel about Vivienne? Friends? Allies? Rivals? Bekele respects Vivienne’s strength, and her skill and ability to thrive and survive in a dangerous world. She respects her skills in The Game, and also her sense of fashion. But Bekele is extremely sympathetic to the mage rebellion, so they never agreed on that. Still, they were friends. 

Dorian

1. How does your Inquisitor feel about Tevinter? Did Dorian change their feelings at all about the Imperium? Bekele hates Tevinter as much as she hates the Qun. Dorian kind of...cemented some thoughts that Bekele had about Tevinter, honestly. Because Bekele has never seen magic as being evil, or dangerous. Slavery is the true evil; enslaving other people and stripping them of personhood is the biggest bad in this universe to her, and Dorian doesn’t see a problem with that. He’s a product and perhaps victim of the institutionalized belief system of Tevinter, but he is also an instigator of it.

4. Was Dorian a good companion for your Inquisitor? Was there any personality clash between them? Personality wise, Dorian and Bekele got along swell. The only problem was the entirety of Dorian’s ethical compass pointed in the opposite direction Bekele was willing to accept, which made friendship...pretty impossible. Unless Dorian ends up deciding slavery is evil and that he and the rest of the Tevene who benefit from it need to be held responsible for their atrocities then there’s no way they’d be able to be friends. Which is a shame, because he’s someone she’d get along with otherwise. But conversations tended to get tense, mainly with Bekele verbally executing him every time he tried to defend his lifestyle. I headcanon he gets his shit together, and then he and Bekele are a terror duo. 

5. Did your Inquisitor agree with Dorian’s decision to return to Tevinter? How did they feel about his choice? Honestly Bekele knew it was going to happen. She hates Tevinter, and knows that if he continues on as a high ranking member of the Imperium and continues to be ok with the institute of slavery then one day they’re going to meet on opposite sides of a battlefield. But if he’s going there as an ally and someone who wants to dismantle slavery from the inside then she’s going to stand by that decision and be proud of him.

21. someone is encroaching on their love interest. how do they respond?

Hallalin would probably be a little weary and jealous on th inside, but he’d be smiling and telling them politely that they’re taken. 

25. what is their favourite place within playable regions?

Hallalin loves the Emerald Graves and Emprise Du Lion (Mostly because of the snow!).

38. are there any insults they find to be especially offensive? (i.e. “knife ear”/”rabbit” for elves, “oxmen” for qunari, ect.) 

Hallalin doesn’t really care much for the general insults he gets for being an elf. It’s the insults regarding his looks and his abilities that he gets offended by. Some of the ones he hates the most are “Demon”, “Abomination”, “Spirit”, “Pale elf” etc. 

6. What’s their alignment? (chaotic good, neutral evil, etc.) Chaotic good, I knew this would be the case for her straight away. XD

7. Which element best describes them? Air. Quick and agile, able to change from a soft cooling breeze to devastating gusts of pure force.

14. Do they have any hobbies? she likes pick-pocketing people? I don’t think that’s a very good hobby though. She can also juggle, and do general acrobatics. 

I’m glad you love her, I feel like I neglect her too much, so I’m always glad to talk about her.

Blackwall

3. Did their treatment of Blackwall change after discovering who he was? If yes, how so? Elenaril was definitely more cautious of him. The two had gotten along very well, and she’d genuinely liked him as a person and a friend, and so she’d felt betrayed on a more personal level than just as companions, because she’d thought they’d been close enough for him to confide in. 

4. How close was your inquisitor to Blackwall? What drew your Inquisitor to him or away from him?  Elenaril was very close with him. They practiced sword fighting together often, and had similar interests: she as a blacksmith, he as a carpenter, and both have a steady nature that made talking easy. 

Sera

2. Did your Inquisitor see Sera as troublesome or simply fun-loving? Did they join in for her pranks? Elenaril saw Sera’s pranks as an outlet for Sera, and not as something harmful. Unless Sera harmed someone, there was no reason for Elenaril to stop her pranks. Besides, it was fun to see some people that she’d heard call her ‘knife ear’ or ‘rabbit’ get a bucket of cow dung dropped on their heads.

5. Did your Inquisitor respond well to Sera and seek her company or avoid her? Elenaril saw Sera a bit as a younger sister. Elenaril was proud of her Dalish heritage, but not the type of person that lauded it over city elves like they were somehow less and elf for not having vallaslin. She was easy to talk to, and not easily ruffled, which made her a calming influence on Sera without seeming like an overbearing, nagging figure. 

Cole

2. What did your Inquisitor think of Cole’s ability to see into people’s thoughts? She found it unnerving, simply because Elenaril liked to keep her thoughts to herself. But it’s something he can’t control any more than a sneeze, really, and so she can’t fault him for it.    

5. How would you describe your Inquisitor’s relationship with cole? Non-existent? Or a relationship like that of siblings? Elenaril saw Cole as someone to protect, definitely a family-like association. A former spirit of compassion is something that Elenaril thinks the world needs more of, and Cole tries so hard. 

Cassandra

5. Does your Inquisitor know all of her middle names? Yes, thought honestly in Elenaril’s opinion that’s far too many names to give one person without them being earned. I headcanon that clan Lavellan (and perhaps other Dalish clans) have a tradition of earning extra names as descriptors and such, and signs of prestige. Names and words are so important, so seeing so many given to one person without them being ‘earned’ so to speak is a bit bewildering to her at first. All that name, and none of it things she’s done for herself, but given at birth? How preposterous. Humans have such odd traditions. 

Blackwall

2. What did they choose to do with him and how did they feel about their choice? Were they guilty about leaving him in cell, if they choose to do so? Maibrit’s grandmother is the head of the Cadash family, therefore the head of the Carta crime syndicate. Maibrit’s seen shit, she’s done shit she’s not proud of, and she knows the gnawing guilt that comes with such a life. Maibrit didn’t execute Blackwall, and had him become a Grey Warden in full. 

3. Did their treatment of Blackwall change after discovering who he was? If yes, how so? Maibrit’s trust is a pretty hard thing to earn, so she’d always been wary of him and all the other companions, so this really just helped her compartmentalize where he was on the ‘trust scale’ she’d made. He definitely moved down a few pegs on it though. 

5. Did they remain in contact with him after the events of Trespasser? Yes. Maibrit keeps contacts with everyone. 

Solas

4. Did your Inquisitor think of Solas as Fen’harel or did they continue to think of him as their companion, a friend, if he was one to them, even after discovering who he was? Maibrit beat herself up over not seeing it sooner, honestly. It was a blow to her pride (which was also a pun she found ironic). Her enchanted ruby was messed up by the mark, and therefore made it harder to spot how different Solas’ magic was, which would have been the initial giveaway...but still, she’d always been a bit suspicious if only because Solas was not as subtle as he thought, and picking up on lies is Maibrit’s specialty. Still, she liked Solas, even if they were never really close. She still saw him as a companion, just as a..problematic one now.5. What did they choose, stop Solas or attempt to redeem him, and what motivated their choice? Fear? Love? Maibrit wants to redeem him, but if she has to kill him in order to save Thedas, she will. 

Sera

1. What did your Inquisitor think about the Red Jenny organization? Did they choose to be apart of it? Maibrit loved everything about the Red Jenny organization. She was totally onboard.

Varric

1. Was your Inquisitor’s relationship with Varric like that of Varric’s relationship with Hawke? Was it better? Worse? It was very similar. Maibrit’s easy to get along with, and she and Varric share a similar sense of humor. They were fast friends. 

2. How did your Inquisitor feel about Varric’s situation with Bianca? Who did they decide was right about what Bianca did? Maibrit thought it was a pretty shitty situation. Maibrit liked Bianca, as an individual. Both of them are curious and bright young dwarves that love uncovering mysterious and building things, and so the two would have been fast friends, in another world. The problem was what she’d done to Varric, and the ensuing shit that went down. Maibrit was kind of biased, in her friendship with Varric, so she took Varric’s side, but she never hated Bianca for her choices. 

3. Did your Inquisitor approve of Varric’s stories? Did they read any of his books? Maibrit read all of Varric’s books. Her insomnia only got worse after the mark, so she had plenty of time to read. She also suggested some plots for him to include in later works, and her tales of past mercenary work for the Carta made for good writing inspiration. 

4. Did your Inquisitor try to dissuade Varric from believing that they were the herald of Andraste or did they encourage it? Oh she definitely dissuaded it. Bad stuff happens to people that get put on religious pedastals. She’d like to NOT burn at the stake, thanks. She’s a genius dwarf with an amazing memory and an all-seeing enchanted ruby for an eye but she’s not the herald of any gods.  

5. Did your Inquisitor leave Hawke in the fade or save Hawke? How did that affect their relationship with Varric? Maibrit didn’t leave Hawke in the Fade, so it only deepened her and Varric’s friendship. 

Blackwall

4. How close was your inquisitor to Blackwall? What drew your Inquisitor to him or away from him? Olwyn wasn’t super close to Blackwall but she liked him. He wasn’t someone who came off as initially antagonistic, so she got along with him relatively well, but they didn’t have a lot in common. She didn’t spend much time with him outside of missions except to check up on him from time to time. His deception hurt, and when she found out later, she certainly didn’t view him in the same light, but Olwyn has always been someone who believes in second chances, so she certainly didn’t hate him. 

Solas

2.Did they agree with his opinions about spirits, that they were friends and trustworthy? If not, what did your inquisitor believe instead? She did! Initially she was still getting over the Circle’s brainwashing rhetoric they give to everyone about how terrifying and evil spirits and demons are, but she’d been fighting that her whole life and never fully accepted it. So to hear someone tell her something different, and it being someone she genuinely liked, made it easy for her to decide that the Chantry had been wrong. Olwyn was always eager to learn more, and Solas was eager to tell what he knew, so it went smoothly. 

3.If your inquisitor was told they were “unlike others of their race” by Solas, how did they respond? Were they angry or grateful? Olwyn was not...entirely pleased with it. She respected Solas, and they were friends, and she knew that humans as a whole had committed great atrocities; hell, as a mage, she’d suffered under the yoke of human religion as well. But Olwyn really hates generalizing, because she believes in people, and their ability to choose whether to be good or evil. So it hurt a little, to hear Solas water down the entirety of humanity into some evil other, and say she wasn’t like them, when she’s known so many people in the Circle, and out of it, who were kind and thoughtful and just as opposite the description of humanity that Solas held as she was. So it hurt. It hurt because Olwyn really respected Solas’ insight on things, and saw him a bit as a mentor, and to hear him say things that were just as crude and cruel as the Chantry in dividing the ‘acceptable’ and the ‘evil’ was disappointing. 

4.Did your Inquisitor think of Solas as Fen’harel or did they continue to think of him as their companion, a friend, if he was one to them, even after discovering who he was? Solas was always Olwyn’s friend; her first friend outside of the Circle and the mage rebellion, the first person to treat her kindly during the confusion of conclave. And Olwyn didn’t see Solas being Fen’harel as meaning he couldn’t also be Solas...just as she was Inquisitor and also Olwyn. Sure, it hurt like hell, because she felt betrayed. But she never gave up on him, and she plans on finding a way to save the world from Solas, and Solas from himself.

Vivienne

1.Did your Inquisitor share Vivienne’s views on the circle of magi or disagree and why? Nooooooo not at all. Olwyn grew up in the Ostwick Circle. She grew up seeing the cruelties of the Circle firsthand...and she saw it for what it was: slavery. She was dehumanized, made into a monster by a religion that she was forced to listen to every day of her life tell her how the Maker hated her. And when the Templars abused the mages, and the threat of tranquility? Olwyn never thought, even for a moment, that mages were more a danger than the people that kept them in cages and ruled them with fear and taught the world to give up their children and hurt them and call them vile names because a chant told them to. No, Olwyn strongly disagreed with Vivienne’s views on the circle of magi. 

2.Did your inquisitor view The Game as worthwhile or did they detest court intrigue? How did that affect their relationship with Vivienne? Olwyn doesn’t like all the lies and deception. The Game seems stupid, and it shouldn’t be needed. It’s inherent of an entire corrupt system that Olwyn despises, aka the Chantry, so she detests it. 

5.How did your Inquisitor feel about Vivienne? Friends? Allies? Rivals? Allies in stopping the threat to Thedas, but...not much else. She certainly tried to be Vivienne’s friend, and she was as kind to her as she was to others, but she could not get over the fact that Vivienne was fine with the enslavement of mages, or Vivienne’s views on the circle of magi as a whole. It made it difficult to hold conversations with her at times. She wanted to be friends with Vivienne, but it was definitely an uphill battle.
