I really liked how Mirell’s devpage came out so it got colored. I feel his monsterform is now more nailed down to what it was previously.

May 2017 INoaMON dev dump
Row 1 - Refamiliarizing myself with the characters (and drawing in general) again. Garett is my comfy zone for this.
Row 2 - Sketches led to thinking about food and accommodations of the setting (not pictured, the symbols i decided on). Rais is exactly the kind of person who can only justify “luxury” drinks to himself if it comes with a reusable jar.
Row 3 - Had to “fix” Indigo’s vest so that it can work (the secret is buttons). I’m mulling over if Levan should wear a minor degree more clothing in case I don’t have enough room on the screen. A sash or suspenders might work since Garett is also shirtless. I welcome your thoughts.
Row 4 - Ion, small dragon mom that is in all routes, she helps house and train Grenn for his new job.
Row 5 - Mal, Director of Galatea, she too appears in most, if not all routes. She is very trusthworthy.

Mirell doesn't mean anything aggro with that, he hasn't mastered the art of not being slightly unnerving when making bad jokes with his body horror powers. (It's not even a pun!)
Whew finally got to answer this! This one is pretty long but I think it's gives a good feel for how the three of them interact.
On another note, despite Garett's best intentions, crashing is the far more likely option even if he can carry Grenn. Rais can't even fly by himself so he'd never be able to pull it off.
*Rais is peculiar about language. Also anon you certainly know how to pick that question!
Being boyfriend to sharkman is suffering if you want snugglies. It's not within his personality to be touching anyone when he's asleep.
Levan typically has a fairly earthy, coppery smell. However with him sleeping in the washroom it's taken on a shade of chlorine. Sometimes there's an additional hint of soap if the washroom was recently used and SOMEONE (Grenn, sometimes Ion) forgot to really wash out the suds.
Since most Scalekind live in the ocean they tend to have one of the various scents of the sea (fish, sand, salt, etc.). Levan really hasn't visited "home" in a while, so that's why he doesn't smell particularly fishy.

Author Chat: I could say "yes" since every character gets at least one sex scene, however I'm not sure if you technically get to see it since I haven't finalized what the CG will be.
If there's one thing I'd like to get across is that the game isn't strictly a porn game, but more a story with some (optional) sex on the side. As a result, not all of the CGs will be centered around the floppy bits? I hope that makes sense?
Nothing wrong with wanting the juicy bits of course, and it may seem a little bit of a downer for me to mention it, but I just wanted to clarify.

Hello new people who seem to have found their way here from the Sharkweek post! Welcome to the INoaMon (I'm not a Monster) VN dev blog. I recommend checking out the other posts if you're curious about the other monster boyfriends!

In tumblr news, I have tagged all of the relevant posts with the characters' names (finally).
In VN related news I have decided to have it so that TWO characters accompany Grenn/the player in the first part, these are preset pairs as it is most natural for the characters/circumstances (Indigo + Markol, Rais + Garett and Mirell + Levan) and because accounting for more combos would pile on lot more work.
I feel this decision will allow for more flexibility and meaningful interactions instead of deciding your route super early like in the initial draft (originally you would be picking your route right out the gate). Your route now locks when you arrive at the city. Any feedback about this change would be appreciated but it's probably too early for that. (Suggestions/requests are of course, always welcome!)

This was a fun ask to answer! As for an actual yuri verison...
Yuno is the planned MC for the "yuri" version. Though her story is EXTREMELY way down the line. She also gets 6 companions (Currently: Gryphon, Insect, Naga, Plant, Slime, Sting Ray).
Yuno will be making a cameo in INoaMon since both take place in the same universe. She works at Galatea and her design is not final but will most likely be drawing some traits from what femGrenn looked like. Who knows, I may even change my mind about that since things can change!
