Can’t decide if I’m going to change the bottom band, and all that stitching really stiffened it up but so far it’s looking neat!

Not sure if you've ever gotten into prog metal, but from your tastes I think you should check out VOLA. Specifically their first album Inmazes. It's lightning in a bottle.

i have never gotten into prog metal, but, I’m always willing to try new suggestions so i gave Inmazes a listen.
it’s good stuff! i liked the rather charming synth for atmosphere paired with the heavy guitar riffs, it’s not something i’ve listened to much of before so it definitely feels unique to me. tracks i particularly enjoyed are Owls, A Stare Without Eyes (found that to be quite groovy) and the title track, Inmazes.
so, i’ll probably listen to it again at some point. thank you for the recommendation!!

VOLA - Gutter Moon
Kinda hard to pick a song from this album but I’d have to go with Gutter Moon...its just...its fucking fantastic...every song on this album could be called their best.
Aside from their catchy choruses and grade A 80′s synths, I think the lyrics are what I dig the most.

This album may overtake Good Tiger for my #1 of the year...
