Bit random, but I saw a lightning strike today on my drive home, and had a Wildflower AU thought of the trio sitting out on the porch of their house, watching a thunderstorm. I guess that could also be true of canon Eddie and Volt post-realization as well, but it just feels like a kinda country thing to do, y'know? π So that's why Wildflower was my first thought!

Telling each other what anecdotes they were told when they were kids about what thunder "was", back when they were little enough that thunder scared them
The cool breeze bringin' the scent of rain-soaked earth up to them
