Okay guys, so here is the deal. The other admins and I have been talking back and forth about the best possible way to go about choosing the most suitable admin for our humble blog and this is what we have come up with.
This blog does 3 main things, one of these things being scenarios. As an admin of this blog you will be expected to be able to write scenarios based on requests sent in. Because this is arguably the hardest part of being an admin, we would like to see how you guys are able to handle it.
Now, what fun would it be if we gave all of you the same request to work on? As most of you know, there are 3 basic types of scenario requests that this blog receives: angst, fluff, and smut. Because we understand that everybody has their preferred genre, mine being smut, we have decided that you will be able to choose the genre of the request that you will receive.
The request that you receive will not be an actual request, but one made up by the admins. We will do our best to make sure that the requests are not too demanding or too challenging and that they fit the genre that you asked for.
You will have till next Sunday to complete the scenario. This might seem like a lot of time to some people and not enough for others. Because we understand that some people may finish sooner and others a little later, we will be lenient with the allotted time. If you finish before the deadline, feel free to submit it earlier. If you are running out of time and feel like you will finish after the deadline, just make sure to let us know and we will patiently wait for your submission. Let’s talk about length. Your scenario is not expected to be extremely long, but is also not expected to be extremely short. All we want is to be able to get a feel for your writing abilities. Use however many words necessary to show us what you’ve got. Please, don’t stress over it at all. We are not looking for length, but for your individual style.
Okay, so that turned out a lot longer than I thought it would. Here is just a brief recap and sort of check list for you guys:
send in the genre that you would like your request to be (via fan mail or ask box): angst, fluff or smut
wait for us to send you a request back
deadline is next week Sunday (August 9th, 2015)
So, all you have to do is follow these instructions and get to it. I think that I have included all of the details, but I could have possibly missed something.
