A concept piece I'm quite happy with for another NPC for my Daggerheart campaign. This is Calyx, an infernis with halo-horns.

Puck never knew her parents, she grew up in an orphanage in the city. It was kind of depressing, so she would always try to lift the other children’s spirits with songs and jokes, she was good at distraction people and making them laugh, she enjoyed it. She started using her talents to perform for whatever change she could get on the streets until one day when she was in her late teens, she was spotted by a servant who worked at the castle who invited her to perform for the king. After impressing him with her performance, she was offered a position and a home in the castle, going from nameless orphan to official court jester overnight. For many years she did well at court, performing for the king, lords, ladies and any other nobles who visited, until one day something changed and she was kicked out of the court. If anyone asked what happened, she told them that the king must have got tired of her jokes or something like that. So she jumped on a train looking for the next adventure.

His sparse clothing is due to starting at level 1, which makes sense in my head, but I don't know how practical this is within the world lore of the game (I still need to more thoroughly read the playerbook ;p ).
