INDOPEPSYCHICS
東京のアンダーグラウンド・シーンで活躍するDJ Kensei、nik、D.O.I.によるプロダクション・チーム＜Indopepsychics＞。1995年結成、90年代中～後期にキングギドラをはじめ多くのヒップホップのプロデュース／リミックスを手掛る。その後90年代末よりブレイク・ビーツ／エレクトロニカに傾倒、様々なインストゥルメンタル楽曲を世に送り出し、2002年にその活動を閉じる。タイトに刻まれるリズムの上を縦横無尽にエレクトロニック・サウンドが這いまわり、脳内に巻きついてくるかのような唯一無二の実験音響を提示、日本のエレクトロニック・インストゥルメンタル・シーンを牽引する。また最新のコンピュータ・テクノロジーを駆使してオリジナルのアブストラクト・サウンドを追求する姿勢はいたって強固である。リリースとしては、90年代末～00年代初頭にリミックスしたヒップホップやオリジナルのブレイクビーツ作品を中心としてまとめた「MECKISH」、2000～2001年にプロデュースしたエレクトロニカやダブを中心としたオリジナル作品をまとめた「LEIWAND」という2枚のアルバムを2002年に発表、また4枚の12インチを世に残した。
