Public speaking and social interactions are a fear many people around the world face. However, the use of social media platforms, have made it easier for people to comunicate with others and express themselves more freely. I can relate to this because I myself are more willing to express my thoughts in my social media platforms than in person. My reason behind this it's because people are not judging me in person, which can make me feel a little more uncomfortable, compared to just reading something on a comment as either positive or negative feedback. I believe there is a confidence that you gain after receiving a certain amount of likes, and positive feedback on pictures that lead you to keep posting. Now, the people who have few likes, are always withrawing, and no longer posting. Therefore the use of social media for individual users doesn't only indicate that they can express themselves, but it also demonstrates that the effect of not having positive feedback can hurt them by making them stop posting.

Even though social media has been used to help others get out of their comfort zone, but it has also hurt others by leading them to commit suicide or even get killed. An example is the 13 year old Izabel Laxamana who committed suicide after her dad posted a video after he cut off her hair and repremending her for a wrongdoing on Youtube. Another example is when a lady name Sarah was killed by her husband after chainging her Facebook status to single. For this reason it we can state that the use of social media can affect someone positively and negatively, especially in the emotional perspective. Users of social media platforms mainly use it to express themselves, they can also become dependent on how other perceive them, making them emotionally dependent. Moreover, bullying is also experienced in social media platforms for teenagers who are not as popular, which leads them to have a lower self-esteem.

We should be able to have the right to have whatever hair colour and hair style we choose. We deserve to be individual from one another instead of being forced to change ourselves for what does not effect our learning.

Students can understand the school is trying to make us look presentable however we need to stay unique. This is the time students realize how they want to be and who they should be. The school is suppressing us from making our own choices to how we should look.
