We traveled 90 minutes from the Ft Myers airport to the #freshwater side of the #Everglades in the true #grasslands, "#TheRiverofGrass" on #Indianreservation land. Whenever I travel, I look for Mama. Her ray of sunshine pushing through the clouds generally over water. This time she found me on this little #airboat while we found #gaters of every age, so many #birds & #plants from #grasses, #water #flowers & #trees. We asked our guide Donny so many questions, we were wearing headsets & microphones & could talk over the loud engine noise. Yet, there were so many moments of just being surrounded by the glory that is #nature that made me feel #gratitude in my heart to be in this place.
