at my friends house and its literally a popmart museum

a friend just got back from visiting his long-distance girlfriend in america over christmas. she lives in boston and her parents are in rural pennsylvania. he said the best cafe in all of boston is about the same quality as the worst cafe here, and he didn't have one good coffee the entire time he was there in four different states. you don't realise how good we have it here in regional south australia until you hear that there is no good cafe food in america. he did go to a drive through bank that used pneumatic tubes though, but i don't think that makes up for it.

the wildest thing about actually having energy after like, a fairly long period of not having any energy is the realization that the day does not end at 3pm, or even 5pm. when you have more energy than a half dead slug there are suddenly many hours in which to Do Things other than sitting on the couch or lying in bed. it's incredible the world is a beautiful place
