#improper names

→ Here is a presentation Wu Ming 1 showed during a talk he gave at Kino Šiška, Ljubljana, on October 18th, 2017. The context was the conference «Proper and Improper Names. Identity in the Information Age», organized by Aksioma. 

The presentation provides a genealogy of the Wu Ming Foundation, as well as a map of our current collectives, projects and activities. The focus is on “psychic warfare”, seen as part of the legacy of the old Luther Blissett Project. 

Mind you, the very last frame provides a definition of psychic warfare that will probably sound puzzling, as it directly refers to concepts that were tried and discussed during the conference. If you want to know more about this, please see Marco De Seriis’ book Improper Names (University of Minnesota Press, 2015). Anyway, the rest of the presentation runs very smoothly, trust us.
