This is my cat fluffy. He's a cuddly looking boy, isn't he? Well, at approximately 9:30 PM on Christmas day, he was responsible for me having a panic attack in the middle of the street. Let me explain.
I live in Maine. There's trees everywhere, even in the coast. I live 5 miles from the ocean, but its still just trees everywhere and more predators than I care to think about.
My mom had just given me permission to walk to a neighbor's house so they could help me set up a laptop because they have internet and I don't. In order to get there, I walk up a hill and take a right turn. Its 2 minutes if I decide to pretend I'm a sloth.
I'm standing at the bottom of this bill and I look up. At the top of the hill I see what I firmly believe to be eyes. Not just eyes. They're very high off the ground and reflecting light in the way only animals eyes do in the dark. I walk back home and ask my dad for a ride. I get a no, so I suck it up and tell myself it muat have been someone's porchlight. I get back to the bottom of the hill and its GONE. I don't know what's worse. The fact I saw it in the first place or the fact that it was gone which meant it couldn't have been a light.
I turn around around again, convinced I'm about to be mauled by some bear or coyote and I decide to look down. I see a pair of eyes staring back up at me and I scream. I cry. I can't breathe. Its 9:30 at night and my life flashes before my because my cat decided to follow me. I still don't know what that thing was, but I know it was not my cat.

I tried to help you out in every circumstance, but of course I should’ve seen it. You’re an oscar winning actress, can control the crowd. I’ve always know manipulation was your strongest skill. Little did I think my best friend the only one I had for two years who I cared about more than anything was an enemy, I guess it’s true what they say, keep your friends close and your enemies closer, because you my friend have kept me very close indeed. You can think what you want about me, claim I’m lying. Copying. Stealing. Attention Seeking. All you want, you’ll just be another face to fear and a face to not think of. You’ll think I’m that because you’re then only person who knows more than most. I’m good at hiding things, more than you realise. I don’t know what it really is I’ve done to you this time. Some reason I piss you off constantly when things in my life shouldn’t have any effect on you, I guess I’ll stop caring now, I’ll guess I’ll stop caring at all. You never know who your friends are.
