I’m so excited every time you say you’re writing a new fic

All right, let’s make you real excited then.

Here’s my current plans for new long fics going up soon or in 2020:

Horse Shoes and Hand Grenades: Ironqrow horse ranch au. After a terrible accident, James buys a horse ranch to try and recover, but he needs help to earn money, and the best way to get money, and publicity, is the rodeo in the fall. Enter Qrow. Tags include: hate to love, trauma recovery, and healing through your connection to animals.

Impact Zone: Ironqrow surf resort AU. I wrote the first version of this like a year? Two years? Ago, and I pulled it down because I really didn’t like where it was going. This is the reboot. James is the day manager at Surfer’s Paradise Surf Resort and Qrow and Raven are up and coming champion surfers sending the summer there. Tags include: hate to love, trauma recovery, phobias, and found family.

Take Me Underground: Ironqrow spies AU. Rated E. James and Qrow are rival spies in the same agency who must go undercover as a couple to try and take down the bad guys. It goes about as well as you’d expect. This fic has so many smut tags on it that I genuinely may try to parse them down and include the rest in the summary. Written Team Spirit style - 6 chapters, 10-20k each.

Various Storms and Saints: Pre-canon Ironqrow canon divergence. THIS is the one I was talking about in that ask. Thirteen years before the events of the show, things go a little differently. James learns the truth, Qrow is ordered to Atlas by Ozpin to make sure James doesn’t lose his mind over knowing the truth, and Atlas is being attacked by someone from the inside. Tags include: hate to love, enemy mine, absolutely too much pining, Immortal Ozma/Ozpin, and Ozpin having a relationship with the previous General of Atlas. Of the sexual variety.

Where You Belong: Ironqrow Fosters AU. James and Qrow already have a bunch of kids and are married, but new additions to their home may change their lives forever. That sweet, sweet domestic bliss. Tags include: transphobia (challenged, not any of them), and found family.

if i heard you (which i don’t): Ironqrow Tangled/Frozen AU. Again, a low number of longer chapters. James has magical ice powers and doesn’t know where they come from. Qrow is the ragtag vagabond that wanders the north with him for answers. Tags include: sharing a sleeping bag, wise cracking to cope with fear, and the power of love.

if heaven’s really there (we’re only getting in by stealing the keys): Ironqrow Leverage AU. James Ironwood is tired of being pushed around. Qrow Branwen runs in the gutters with his sister. When they team up to take down a corrupt businessman, the taste of it captures their interest. Tags include: metaphorical jazz music, rewind and freeze frame, discussing heists as foreplay, and Sad

We also have: the Top Gun AU, the Titanic AU, and the Iron Man AU. All of which are untitled.

EDIT: Actually there is ONE MORE canon verse long fic that should be on this list. And it’s near the top of my priorities list.
