Well it might be a better series though it's still my favorite and maybe Imogen might have been an amazing character.

I remember when Jaron sent Imogen away I just went on reading feeling nothing about it at all. My mind was like wasn't she supposed to go home after book 1 since she was free? Was a drama necessary to sent her home?

Then even in the ending of book 2, i was like hold on there is romance? Weren't they saying it is friendship? Is this drama necessary? Imogen could have just gone back to the castle without being dramatic or just stay away to live her life. Why was she crying and saying they are not friends and are in love? And then she got kidnapped for her own decision?

The in book 3 I didn't realize why all were like Jaron is in love with Imogen?? Then she was dead? I didn't feel sad about it though I can be a lot emotional about these kind of moments. If anything it was annoying to see Jaron getting captured or getting into trouble whenever he tries to help Imogen in all the three books especially in book 2-3.

Why were they after Imogen? There was a princess right there and so many others with more authority in the kingdom as well as important to Jaron in a war that they could have used against Jaron.

Then the reunion scene was annoying too like I wanted to see what happens next and not the romance. I was like why was she even dead then? What was the point of it?? She could have done something else during the war instead of making Jaron have romantic thoughts or mourning for her.

Thought book 4-5 could help me like the romance but then Imogen irked me there much more than before. Jaron too perhaps like who is this Jaron? Why is he so dependent on whether Imogen loves him or not? He wasn't like this in the past books. He wasn't even attracted ro Imogen like that and didn't even love Imogen romantically until book 3!!

Imogen: We're not just friends. (Implying they are lovers)
