The second jade approached the bubbling immortal quietly, waiting until he was close before speaking. “Wei Ying.” He greeted.

“Lan Zhan.” Wei Wuxian mimicked, bringing his arms back in front of himself and shoving an entire armful of flowers into the man's chest.

The jade angel stumbled, staring with wide eyes at the colors filling his arms and spilling over his sleeves. “Wei Ying, what’s all this for?” He could feel his heart thrumming wildly from the gesture, but on the outside he still looked the same as always. The small change in the other’s expression had been enough for Wei Wuxian however, who beamed.

IMBSB is a short project that not unlike COI is about the afterlife, but centered on angels pretty exclusively this time [while COI is mostly centered in hell]. It delves into the mysteries of the forbidden land of Yiling and loss, and of course a particular couple of angel’s love for each other.

Hi everyone!

I've changed the way that this is set up by using google drive to outsource each section bc my post was breaking, this new setup makes it easier to edit and of course the post i'm using can continue to be used without breaking.

The hyperlinks attached to the titles are generally the "first chapter" or "part" for the AU or the source for the information about the AU. some of them don't have a lot of info so they're just linked to their original posts, but the big ones have larger sources on google drive!

I decided these sketches would go up as is so here they are! i might work on the left sketch separately in the future, because that one is my favorite of the wwx sketches on his own but i don't think it looks quite right like this [and i still like the sketch alone more than with any color even if its muted, which is usually a sign it needs to be worked on lmao]

anyway, this is IMBSB WWX! aka Angel WWX for my other afterlife au, "In My Blood, Stardust Blooms". i wanted to focus more on figuring him out than drawing anything super nice for these. [these were drawn before my actual ficlet art i recently posted, so he looks better in that ficlet art than here imo lol]

and i know, this item is technically a female item that is not chinese but idc they are pretty and the universe can allow some cultural crossover.

I want Angel LWJ to have a chatelaine belt. idk about COI angel LWJ but i really see this for IMBSB angel LWJ.

not sure what he would keep on it, besides maybe a pair of small shears for cutting wwx's hair.

What would you guys headcanon as lwj always wanting on his person that he would need at a moments notice? of course this is subtracting his two main weapons and the shears mentioned.

BUT once i finish sleeping (cuz i am still in dire need of more sleep rn my head is killing me) i will finish working on them. i did get it ready to go in clip but i still wanna line/color one of the smaller things for reference and of course edit everything to be more easily seen how i usually do, and maybe even clean them up as well i'm not sure since my brain is just not doing so hot rn

keep in mind the IMBSB ficlets and GOM stuff won't be released for a while. Ch 2 of IMBSB and part 2 of PBM will be released after completion, so you get to see some sooner than the others depending on what you chose.
