🎉Shop Update!🎉 A new immersion dyed version of our popular speckle dyed colorway "Urban Decay" on Lleaf combed top (superwash merino, bamboo, nylon). For this batch I chained the combed top, applied a low immersion base layer of cool grey and then added a dry dye application of warm grey, bright blue, neon green and neon orange. The chained fiber preparation creates resist where the dye cannot penetrate leaving undyed areas and recreating the feel of this beloved colorway that is normally speckle dyed on yarn.⁠ ⁠ Image Description: Four braids of hand dyed superwash treated merino wool, bamboo and nylon combed top spinning fiber on a white background. The wool is dyed in cool and warm greys with pops of bright turquoise blue, neon green and neon orange. The bright accent colors have layered with the greys in places, creating muted tones. I hand painted the wool, then spun it into yarn on my Ashford Joy spinning wheel. I find great joy in spinning so you can rest assured that lots of positive energy went into the spinning of this yarn!
