Unwrap the stigmas of my education Erase the patterns of my nonfunctional left brain. Forgive the information that can’t shift through my dynamic hemispheres and empower my cognitive thinking instead of suppressing my knowledge, ambition and heart to the right. Whip away the depression attached with a hyperactive right hemisphere, overactive with evidence of selective involvement in “processing negative emotions, pessimistic thoughts and unconstructive thinking styles” But why?

I saturate my heart and mind with hope and fate, I climb through the sharp thorns of life, only feeling stronger and full always less empty.

My laugh, love and heart breathe positivity as well as vigilance, arousal and self-reflection, and a strong sense for words and philosophy.

When I was a kid I used to play with sticks

In the backyard I would use my imagination

to me in a place where I

had friends

When I was a kid I would fight dragons

huge beast the filled the sky

scales from head to tail

breathing a cascade of red sunburst flames

but i would hold my shield strong

against monsters with 9 eyes and teeth jagged as mountain ranges

against troll wielding spiked clubs with constant temper tantrums

I was the master of my domain

When I was a kid I would rob train cars

The wild west was sandbox

I would steal shovels and buckets

and build myself a castle by the sea

then ride of into the sunset on my noble steed

When I was a kid I would build robots

A scrapyard of misfit pieces assembled by my tiny hands

These titans would do battle, but only for fun

cause this was a community where we loved everyone

I was a strange little kid
