Remove Border Around Header in Lightweight Theme
Overall I am really like the Lightweight Theme and have tweaked it a little color wise. I love the simplicity of it especially. However one of the things I just hated was this narrow border around my header image. It was really distracting and looks sloppy. There is an easy fix for this however...
Firstly, click the customize button in the upper right of your blog. Then click the edit html button. From there scroll down a little bit until you get to the Global Elements section which should look like the image below:
Look at the second to last line in this section:
The default setting is:
img { border: 1px
Change this to:
img { border: 0px
Then make sure you save your changes and voila, ugly image border is gone. Please note any other pictures you post will also not have a border since this change is to the global element.
Making An Image Border
This feature only shows up in Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Opera browsers
Paste the following code under your post div, or the div you want the image border on, Replace YOURIMAGEURL with the url of the image you want as a border
border: 15px solid black; -moz-border-image:url(YOURIMAGEURL) 30 30 stretch; /* Firefox */ -webkit-border-image:url(YOURIMAGEURL) 30 30 stretch; /* Safari */ -o-border-image:url(YOURIMAGEURL) 30 30 stretch; /* Opera */ border-image:url(YOURIMAGEURL) 30 30 stretch;
