Questa libro è abbastanza scorrevole e veloce ma, a parer mio, lascia davvero tanto ai lettori.
In questo libro il protagonista, nonostante sia in età piuttosto avanzata, lotta con tutte le sue forze per prendere un gigantesco pesce spada.
Questo libro insegna a lottare fino alla fine nella vita e insegna a cogliere anche l'ultimo bagliore di speranza nelle situazioni.
Il protagonista lotta fino alla fine, rischiando anche di morire, e riesce a prendere il pesce, anche se in seguito verrà divorato dagli squali.
Io vedo gli squali metaforicamente come le persone che aspettano che tu ceda per colpirti e toglierti i tuoi successi
