Cleaning snake cages today. This is my baby girl, Harlette. (I didn't name her; she was a rescue and I never changed the name.) I've had her for about 12 years. I don't normally argue that snakes recognize their keepers, but I swear that this one does. There's no other way to explain some of her behaviors. 🤔 She's so different from all of my other snakes. Her favorite places to sit include the bridge of my nose (which terrifies most people) and the top of my head. Once she's in one of those places, she'll sit calmly for an hour if I let her. She was my very first snake and words cant even express how much she means to me.
