Why I cherish photos: I was looking through my Disneyland photos and noticed this pic of the Dumbo ride. I thought it was just a random photo of someone on the Dumbo ride, but I recognized the hat and zoomed in. And it made me so happy. • • This is my brother. We all went to Disneyland in 2015. We didn’t know it then, but within a few months of this trip, we would find out that he had cancer again. Except it was different from the last one. Not 6 months after this photo was taken, his body had decided it couldn’t handle anymore. • • I didn’t know then that that would be my last vacation with him. But I’m so grateful we got to have that time with him. And I love how silly he’s being the in the pic.
