So I’m seeing this troll on the dA gallery trying to go around saying everything in the gallery is “fakegender”, and y'know what? We should take that term for ourselves and give it a proper flag! I know there’s a couple other genders and orientations that started out that way but because something great, so I feel like this is another opportunity to do the same with this!

The troll kept saying “fakegender=gender that you make up on the spot” but I feel like it might be more like “when your gender feels fake/pretending to feel gendered at all”, with ‘pretending’ being something that a fakegender person does to cope/protect themselves in society by presenting in a certain way (So like someone presenting as a woman, when they really feel more like agender). This could probably be taken as a form of agender. I’ve been talking about this with my friends, and two of them say this might actually be the best way to describe their own gender! What do you all think?

That sounds good! It sounds similar to these as well:

Illusogender: When you know you're a certain gender, but there's still the feeling of 'fakeness' there, either due to neurodivergency and/or due to outside pressure from parents, society, etc. These feelings and/or pressures can be part of the gender experience.

Genderfake: Feeling that your gender is part of your hallucinations or delusions. For people who experience delusions or hallucinations as part of their mental illness or neurodivergence only.

Commogender:

1) When you know you aren't cis, but you settle with boy or girl for the time being.

2) A feeling that one is definitely not cis, but is unable to define what their gender is due to mental exhaustion. May be used as commoboy/commogirl if the person identifies with a binary gender for convenience.
