Waves is a lovely song, and I definitely see Fjord in it, with the references to being the “ocean's slave” and the waves becoming “out of hand,” which is sort of where we are now with Uk’otoa. 

This verse I Came Around reminds me a lot of the e85 Scanlan argument:

“When you've walked through the valley/ Saw the face of death/ And you've paid your debts/ Well then, is there anything left/ Is there anything left?”

The sort of idea of ‘I died and now everything’s different.” But then “I came around” is sort of Scanlan finding himself and re-joining VM.

Country of the Future is so good for Molly. The references to the carnival and being too far away. This verse reminds me of Molly, dead, looking down at M9 on the Mystake:

“And if you need some part of me/ When you're alone there by the sea/ I'll sing you this message through the shell/ That you press to your cheek”

I love Taxicab Messiah as a very different commentary on the Traveler and his relationship with Jester:

“My god loved the whores and babies/ my god never noticed a sin/ my god grew and killed the daisies/ my god threw the towel in/ My god is weird, my god is scared/ my god paints a pretty picture of fear”

I YouTubed “Each Time I Die” and it came up with a bunch of different results — which one did you mean? Sorry!!

I uh had to stop after a couple eps. It's p gay but the audio was like nails Ina chalkboard. Idk maybe they got better about that

they redid the first ep once they had better equipment to reassure new listeners that the quality improves but im worried it means trying to listen to the rest of the eps will make my ears bleed

I’m also very convinced by her foreign experience, which I think may be something the president has more immediate effect in than legislation and social policy.

They do, but the president’s policies on those other issues are not unimportant. Presidents sign/veto legislation (and because of that, can influence it while it’s still working its way through Congress), issue executive orders (like Obama is trying to do now on gun control), and -- most importantly -- appoint Supreme Court justices based on their stances on those issues.

That last one is why we really need a Democrat in the White House again. If any of the Republican field gets to appoint Supreme Court justices, Roe v. Wade is toast.

But other than gun control, Hillary and Bernie are identical on social issues. Those tend to be most important to me. So it comes down to: I prefer her foreign policy, but his economic one? 

WASN'T THAT HEART-WRENCHING WHERE ARE HER POWERS I saw that and I was just yelling "you can't do that"--it seems to break so many mainstream tv rules to go up to someone and shoot them again and have no deus ex machina.

you should try reading that other series by Suzanne Collins. It’s YA (so a little sad prose-wise) but otherwise I think it’s worth reading.

Yeah, back when I was transferring all my Once Upon a Time posts to my queue, I set the auto tagger to tag "show: ouat," but it didn't work. So I had to go through and tag all of it manually.  I didn't bother to change it when I added Doctor Who posts to the queue, and then the auto-tagger decided to start working.  So instead of going through the queue of 30+ posts, I just decided to fix it after they post.  Haven't gotten around to the most recent ones because I spent pretty much all day yesterday playing WoW on my step dad's computer, haha.
