Yes! They do have kids now! At least, they do in Dragon Age and Elder Scrolls. Mass Effect, though, they still don’t. While Brynne and Illaren are wonderful and have become legit characters at this point, it feels more fitting for Nera and Fenir not to have kids in ME.

Not just because of lack of physical compatibility, and not really because it’s more dangerous(I’d argue the other settings are just as dangerous if not more so in some aspects) but because of the presence of the Blades and Amaryllis. Their lifestyle is the biggest detractor from having kids, I think. They’re too busy and already have enough responsibility and kids just don’t really enter the equation.

In DA and TES, the Blades/Amaryllis aren’t a thing, so Nera and Fenir for the most part just have themselves to be responsible for, so they fit in a lot easier and it made sense for them to be like ‘yeah okay, lets do this thing’

And they do and Brynne and Illaren are adorable. If a handful. A definite, definite handful.
