He's also one of the most effective antagonists in the game, and responsible in various capacities for kicking us into two different expansions back to back.

And he succeeded in getting everything he wanted (and expected) in the end.

As @scrollsfromarebornrealm said, don't sleep on the "normal" antagonists.

The ones who sling cosmic powers and have mad drip are cool and all, but competing Monetarists and a middle-aged soldier with a chip on his shoulder were the ones to really hit the Scions where it hurts.
