"Y/n, you should stop drinking coffee. You have to watch out for yourself, too," Jake says slowly, sitting his hand on your shoulder with the other one on the heavy cup you are holding. "Four is enough."

Your eyes shift to his expression, one that conveyed clear emotions of concern. This was supposed to be your fifth cup of the day.

Studying for the exams has never been so stressful. The amount of pressure dangling on your shoulders is much unbearable than how you expected it to be. Having parents who never supported your dream certainly took a toll on you, and living with a flawless sister all your life was never any help for your self-esteem. Being the low-grade sister between you two gave you comparisons aplenty. Everywhere you look, no matter where you go, you always find taunts and mockery preying on you. All your life, you got discredited by most of your relatives in light of your sister.

And you want to prove them wrong.

Getting higher grades is what it is. All she's ever good at is cheating off of her friends' answer sheets. It's a secret she threatened you to keep. Ever since she saw you and Jake hanging out alone in the swimming room, a picture she'd taken is all it would take for your parents to wash their hands of you.

And then, there's also getting the favor of all your family. She's prettier, sweeter, hard-working, and smarter. Everyone is biased on her nonexistent efforts, yet you - who has tried everything she can do to show her utmost best to be acknowledged by the people around her - were forsaken and left overlooked.

But it wasn't until Jake happened.

you walked into the kitchen to see jay drinking honey he got from your cabinet as if it was water

“jay are u serious”

he shyly chuckled and set the bottle back onto the counter

“i was gonna make honey muffins for us using that!” you whined but he strolled over to you and patted your shoulder, laughing at your ‘upset’ face

“sorry y/n” he used his hand to cover his laugh “it was still good anyways”

although he was the sole reason of the disappearances of all the sweets in your house, you couldn’t actually get mad at him

jay had an important exam the next morning but he couldn’t focus on studying so he knocked on your door at 9pm on a wednesday night

you two were home alone since your parents were on a business trip

“what do you wanna eat? ill order something” you asked again after he put your beloved honey back in the cabinet

“let’s just make ramen” he suggested before strolling into the living room and plopping down on the couch

jay got comfortable and nonchalantly turned the tv on

“oh crap my bad” he laughed before getting up from the comfy couch and walking back into the kitchen where you were standing

he started getting out the ramen from your pantry while the tv was playing in the background

you internally laughed before speaking again

“i’m joking, go back and study. you came here for a reason and im not letting you fail that exam”

he turned to look at you and grinned

“aww y/n is so caring. you’re being abnormally nice today” he said petting your hair

“get your smelly hands off me” you made a disgusted face and pushed him off

time to start cooking .. Alone

you saw jay in the corner of your eye start getting out his books and settling down on the couch

while cooking the ramen you’d glance at him once in a while

his eyes are glued on the tv

“JAY”

his head snapped towards you so fast

“are you studying”

“yes maam”

you didn’t say anything but you kept your eye on him

you could see him try to study but his eyes would wander back to the tv and he’d force himself to look back at his books

it was the funniest thing but you tried not to laugh

“its done” you called out to him 5 minutes later

he quickly got up and made his way to you

“woahh looks good” he said and got the bowls and chopsticks ready

“i know it does”

you both sat at the island and started to dig in

“my ramen tastes extra good today..”

“it does” he replied and took another bite

“i dont know” he shrugged “even if he tried to tutor me i dont think i would understand

Indicios de primavera, las pequeñas flores sin desarrollarse del todo bailaban al compás del viento.

La cabeza de Eren recostada levemente sobre el hombro de su amado, su mente sumida en aquellos viejos momentos con Jungwon semejantes a estos.

Eren movía su nariz evitando que el molesto estornudo saliera de sus fosas nasales, cosa que fue un fracaso, ya que acto seguido se escuchó el "achuu" de su parte.

Amaba esas épocas, de hecho la primavera era considera como la estación favorita de Eren, días levemente soleados, las flores dejándose ver de poco en poco, un par de abejas espantando a las personas, solo que el pequeño detalle de su alergia le amargaba un poco la felicidad.

— Salud, cariño — exclamó Jungwon mostrando aquellos lindos hoyuelos hacia Eren — ¿Necesitas un pañuelo? —.

— No es necesario — sus palabras fueron interrumpidas por otro estornudo, la mirada burlona de Jungwon enfocó brevemente sus ojos — Te lo juro que no es necesario —.

Un bufido cansado saldría del interior del castaño — Además, sabes que me gusta esta época, no tienes de que preocuparte — se defendería hacia si Eren.

— ¿Sabes que me gusta a mi? — la contraria dudaría un poco su respuesta negando al último — Tú —.

Aquel rojo carmesí apareció en las mejillas de Eren — Basta Jungwon — exclamaría dejando un leve golpe en el brazo de novio.

Cualquier persona que pasara por ahí podría sentir aquel ambiente de enamoramiento, con una simple mirada ambos se trasmitía ese sentimiento de amor que sentían el uno por el otro.

— ¿Eren? — la chica sonrió hacia su novio en forma de respuesta — ¿Estaremos siempre juntos? — cuestionó Jungwon.

— ¿Qué tipo de pregunta es esa Jungwon? — dijo Eren mirándole directamente a los ojos — ¡Claro que sí! —.

Una sonrisa sincera se formó en los labios del chico — ¿Lo juras? —.

La voz de una chica pelinegra sacó al joven del pequeño trance — Jungwon, ¡cariño! — la voz de esta se escuchaba un poco cansada, había estado corriendo un par de calles para llegar a tiempo — No es muy tarde, ¿Verdad? — Sacudiendo un poco la cabeza y alejando la vista de aquella persona a la que juro amor eterno, Jungwon volteo a ver a su novia y nego de forma tranquila — Disculpa la demora, ya sabes, primavera, alergias. Es muy nefasto, ¿No crees? — dijo la chica alardeando.

— Sí, la primavera es muy nefasta — Eren y Jungwon amaban la primavera, pero ella no era Eren y Jungwon ya no le gustaba la primavera — ¿Nos vamos? —.

"Te lo prometo; juntos para siempre Jungwon"

Aquella promesa quedo como simple palabras dichas al viento, bien dicen que las almas gemelas nunca tienen un final feliz.

"Hey, Y/N", Jay's voice rings through out the house, searching for you. Moments later he enters the room you're in with a wide grin on his face. "Yeah?", you ask skeptically. "So I just read this psychology trick on the internet and I want to see if it actually works", he crouches down in front of you.

"And let me guess, you want to try it on me?", you raise your eyebrow. Not gonna lie, you were definitely curious about this trick your best friend was excited about. He gave a cheer when you agreed to let him try the experiment on you.

"Okay so all you have to do is cover your eyes with this blindfold", he instructs and ties a scarf around your eyes. "Kinky", you laugh and get smacked on the head in return.

"Now lie dow- oH MY GOD STOP LAUGHING AND GET YOUR MIND DOUSED IN HOLY WATER", he cries.

"Okay so first we have to clear your mind we must do a little exercise", Jay explains. "I'm going to ask you some questions and then you'll have to count until I tell you to stop. Understood?"

You only nod, fearing if you open your mouth you'll probably fall into fits of laughter.

"Okay, so what's the colour of human blood?" he starts. You make a face at the question before answering it. "Red". "Okay...how many planets are there and yes we're including Pluto as well" his voice drawls on. "nine, how long is this f-" "Shush or we'll have to start again", he warns. You sigh dramatically, getting bored with whatever he's doing.

After a few more factual questions and subjective ones like favorite color and first memory that comes to mind he finally reaches the final stage of warming up.

"Now, I want you to start counting from 0 then 5 then 10 and so on...until I tell you to stop", he instructs, clearly enjoying whatever he was doing, thoroughly. Flipping him off, you hear a sound of disapproval from him before you start the counting.

A while later you get tired of counting and it seems like Jay has no intention of stopping you anytime soon. “135, 14, 145...Jay, how much longer?”, you, however, were met with silence. Getting suspicious, you sit up and remove the blindfold and your suspicions were true. That idiot was nowhere in the room. 

Ticked off, you swear loudly and go looking for your best friend who was in the living room laughing his ass off. “jAY PARK YOU BETTER GET READY!!”, you shout and make a run towards him, vengeance in your eyes. Jay, startled at your threat prepares to escape but in vain as you tackle him to the ground.

“So you decided to prank me...”, you voice out the obvious, glaring at your best friend who was trying to hold back his laughter. “I will get back at you, Park JongSeong..and when I do you’re gonna wish you were never born”, you smile threateningly down at him. “What’s got you all so giggly?”, you frown when Jay lets out small giggles, eyes crinkling. “You do realize the position we’re in, right?”, he raises his eyebrow.

You were on top of Jay who was lying on his back on your floor, the distance between the both of your faces almost nonexistent . As realization hits you, your eyes widen and a blush creeps on your face, your heart beating erratically. “You look cute”, he comments, voice lowered as if he was cautious of his words. “So..?”

“What?”, you ask him, your voice also soft, a bare whisper. “Are you gonna kiss me or are you waiting for me?”, he asks. The confident cover masked his nervousness well, hoping that he didn’t cross any line but it was too late for that. His words which he had been suppressing for a long time finally out in the open. The feelings he kept hidden now revealed. He waited for your answer wishing whatever happened wouldn’t change anything between you.

Your eyes widen more and you would’ve thought he was joking if it weren’t for his intense gaze and the feel of his heartbeat which was racing. You were pretty sure he could feel your heartbeat too considering how close the both of you were right now. 

When you don’t move or say anything, he grabs the courage and leans forward slowly, eyes falling on your lips, giving you time to say something or move back and when you don’t, praying he’s not reading you wrong, he gently presses his lips to yours for a second or two. Just as he thinks of stopping and moving back, not getting any response from you, you surprise him by kissing him back.

Two seconds later, the both of you lean back, awkward as hell. You avoid his gaze and take a step back, sitting on the floor now. “So...”, you start, unable to say anything. “Well that happened”, he sighs and scoots closer to you which makes you glance at him. He was sporting an awkward smile, scratching the back of his neck. “Yeah...so is this the part where you ask me out or are you waiting for me to do that?”, you tease, all awkwardness gone.

He laughs, shaking his head when you copy him. “I’ll be in the next room if you want to ask me out”, he winks at you, leaving you speechless as he stands up and makes his way out of the room. 

“Just because we’re dating now, doesn’t mean I won’t take my revenge!!”, you cry out, hearing his laughter. “I’m looking forward to it! Plus, you still haven’t asked me out, Y/N!”, he shouts in return making you chuckle.

“i fall for the worst ones”, jay put his head down on the table and sighs dramatically.

“that’s because you’re looking at the wrong pond”, you say as he lifts his head to look at you.

“where should i be looking then?”, he asks.

“you’re looking at the right one right now”, sunoo answered bluntly as he took a sip of your boba.

you kicked his legs underneath the table. “what he’s trying to say here is that”, you paused. i’ve been here this whole time while you were looking for someone to be inlove with desperately. “you need to stop looking for someone and focus on copying the homework.”

“you’re right. but that did not help me at all.” he started writing down the answers for the homework.

“the thing about you is that, you fall for someone so easily jay...”, he stopped writing and took a deep breath.

“what am i supposed to do then?”, he asked genuinely.

“i honestly don’t know”
