well, on one hand, we’re gonna be dealing with some trauma here, since this is immediately post-canon and they both, uh, Have Issues. so we’re going to have some awkward flailing and some screaming and some deep talks.

4 -  What’s your favorite line of dialogue? ooooooh now you’re asking! i dont think it’ll be a surprise to admit that dialogue is my favourite thing to write haha i think in goobers oof it’s hard i think most of my favourite bits of dialogue are like, chunks of back and forth? but in terms of a single line, strangely its not aziraphale or crowley but abraham in chapter 5 when aziraphale is like, double checking hes not going to have a crisis of faith for smooching a dude-shaped person and abraham says pretty simply, “I don’t think Hashem wants me to suffer.” because ok not to get real on a fanfic ask meme but i just dont think god made us to be miserable ok!

ooooh so the bit that still makes me laugh when i picture it is right from the first chapter, when crawley has discovered that aziraphale doesnt know how to play any games and decides to teach him one:

‘“Alright. An easy one - Twenty Questions. It’s a guessing game,” he explained. “We take it in turns to think of something - anything at all. And the other person has to try and guess what it is by asking questions, but they’re only allowed to ask twenty, max. It’ll make sense once we’re playing,” he added, on seeing Aziraphale’s expression. “Look, I’ll start. I’m thinking of something, now you ask to find out what it is.”

Aziraphale’s brow wrinkled. “…what is it?”

“You know what? That’s on me,” said Crawley.’
