“…Savior?”

The word falls from his lips with more than a touch of acid, burning gaze smoldering crimson as he surveys the girl.

He’s past feeling nervous around this chit who reminds him, sometimes, so oddly of his old master; a thought that has become more and more prevalent, since his brothers were lost.

What is there left to fear now, after all?

“There’s no one in this world I’d honor with such a title. I kill for myself- my gain, my benefit, my pleasure.                                             Is that a problem?” 

     His reaction, although difficult to discern through tone alone, is one she expects. Her use of such an emotionally attached word has proved to be useful, eliciting an emotional response from him. 

     Still, it does not negate her own actions as she stares him straight into his eyes. 

     “No.” She responds, her tone even as it had been previously. “It is not.” A pink boot nudges what is left of the person below, turning her attention towards it, if only briefly.
