Twitch has announced that it will remove the popular "PogChamp" emote from its service following a tweet made by Ryan 'Gootecks' Gutierrez, whom the emote is based on, which "encouraged further violence" following today's insurgency on Capitol Hill.

… 'Will there be civil unrest for the woman who was executed inside the Capitol today or will the #MAGAMartyr die in vain?" Gutierrez tweeted. In a statement to IGN from a Twitch spokesperson, the company announced, "We've made the decision to remove the PogChamp emote following statements from the face of the emote encouraging further violence after what took place in the Capitol today."

For those interested, the review gave it a grading of 4.0 out of 10, which is ‘bad’ in site’s formate of rating.  It stated the acting was poor, the dialogue was convoluted, the plot contrived and the pacing uneven.  In short, the reviewer likened it to show runner, Scot Buck’s previous work on Netflix’s ‘Iron Fist,’ noting it suffers from the same deficits in pacing and character development.  

Black Bolt #6

“This is it! The finale of the first arc of Black Bolt, one of the most interesting comics to come out of Marvel in a long time. Every single time I think the art can’t get better, it does. I’m thinking primarily of the first death of the issue -- it’s so gorgeous, the harsh vertical panels, and then the death… followed by the fall, all in silhouette. But then, later, there’s another huge moment -- as Black Bolt speaks -- and I needed to take a moment to just stare at the page. Ward is one of the best artists working, and together he and Ahmed make a dynamite team. Every single issue of Black Bolt has been rock solid. This issue finds Black Bolt and his prisoner companions teaming up to take down the Jailer. From a different writer, this premise could have been rife with unfortunate implications, but Ahmed’s drawing of prison reads beautifully real -- it’s an inhumane place, and no one deserves to be there, no matter their “crime.” I never thought a comic with Crusher Creel would make me cry, I never thought a Black Bolt comic would shatter my heart, but here we are. This is a masterful comic.” -Tara
