wheel thrown, alerted and assembled porcelain with hollow-thrown knob handles. oxidation fired to cone 9 [2300 F] with clear liner glaze and multiple zinc silicate crystalline glazes.

there are no words to express my undying love of REE's in crystalline glazes. and this first attempt using a new element truly made up for putting my livelihood on hold, fucking up my kiln AND getting covid during my 35th birthday and thanksgiving...

[and did you all see the Aurora last night?! never thought i'd live to see so many strong plus consecutive x flares. geeking out so hard with sunspot 3664 and CMEs of this past week and still catching my breath from experiencing the first resulting geomagnetic storm with likely more to come the next few days. the world is on fire but there's always beauty within the darkness.]
