Preparing for igcse, gcse or even Alevels
•make a revision time table- I know this is the most basic advice ever but trust me making a revision timetable is really handy in knowing what you need to do write down the topics you need to accomplish in a day and cross it out once you're done. It doesn't have to be a fancy ass schedule with colors and printed pictures of doggos on it as much as that sounds appealing it won't do your revision or studying you can simply write it down on your note book or a piece of paper.
•start with harder topics: starting with harder topics allows you to focus more on things you don't understand and gets them out of the way so later you won't spend too much time cramming and stressing over things you don't understand.
•study the important sections of the topic and then write down what you remember from the topic while having a small note book or paper on the side and note down what you couldn't remember or things you missed out revise them and repeat the process. This is literally a life saver. Thank me later. ;)
•print out past papers: this always said and a basic advice as well but solving past papers can really help except don't just depend on past papers. After studying print out a past paper and if so all the variants of that past paper solve them as if you're actually taking the exam after that look up the mark scheme mark it and grade it then do the same with other variants, note down the things you got wrong and then go back to your notes and revise them again then proceed to the other variant and repeat the process.
Lastly I know this is all easier said than actually done but trust me at the beginning of all these it may seem so but once you get the hang of it you'll definitely ease up, as you see studying is just a matter of repetition and identifying weaknesses. It'll be okay just put in the effort. -ally❤️
