If tomorrow never comes 2
I groaned as something jumped on top of me.
“(Y/N)” a male cooed in my ear. Mike. It had been late by the time we had finished our conversation and Karen aka Mrs. Wheeler didn’t want me riding home alone that late, so I stayed over. And now I was being annoyed by Mike. But not for long.
I rolled onto my side sending him flying over me and onto the floor with a resounding thump. A giggle escaped my lips as I peeked at him from under my (h/c) hair.
“Ha! Sucker, you deserved that.”
I leapt out of the bed and stretched feeling my bones crack. I ran towards the bathroom, desperately trying to get there before Mike. And succeeding. I stuck my tongue out at him and slammed the door.
Karen had called us down for breakfast and we were currently surrounding the table, stuffing our faces with eggos and syrup. Mine had a decent amount whereas Mike drenched his. The phone rang, the sudden shrill causing me to jump. Karen answered it and from what I could here it was Mrs. Byers. She seemed to be asking about Will. Exchanging a look with Mike, I felt feed curl my stomach into knots. I lost my appetite and slowly pushed my plate away from me.
The sound of metal on metal was harsh on my ears, causing me to wince. The worry I felt in my stomach that morning was tenfold. His bike wasn’t here. Where was he. Please let him be OK.
A snicker was heard from behind a bunch of students in front of us and I immediately groaned under my breath. Troy and his little sidekick James. Blegh.
“look its the freakshow, frogface, midnight, toothless and, of course, little miss hottie.”
He directed that last one at me and honestly, I think I threw up a little.
“Go away Troy. You out of everyone, should know when you’re not wanted dumbass.”
He glared at me. “you’re lucky you’re hot. Now, toothless, do the arm thing.”
“Dustin, don’t do it.” we all argued.
“Dustin you really don’t have to do it.” I tried to tell him, but he done it anyways. Not being able to watch, I looked away hearing the groans of disgust.
Sliding into my seat beside Mike, I let out a groan and looked over at Wills desk. He still hadn’t showed up. The class moved quickly and by the time it was over, I had only doodles on my page. No notes in sight. Well shit.
Mike slammed his hands on my desk causing me to jump.
“come on (Y/N)! Mr. Clarke says it’s here!” that was enough to make me leap from my chair and follow them to the av room.
We were messing around with the radio, I was just about to grab it, when it happened. The principal knocked on the door, the chief of police behind him, and asked for all of us to come with him.
No. No. I refused to believe it. He couldn’t be missing. He just can’t be. I never got the chance.
