"I've got a score to settle...for both of us." Age of Umbra is really good
Idyl's "How Do You Want to Heal This?" moment really served to highlight the direction his character has been going over the course of this whole miniseries.
Idyl was first seen running towards some commotion at the gates of Desperloch trying to find a way to help (and Ghosthook noted this was a frequent occurrence with him). He chose to go explore the monastery because he wanted to learn about his power and he felt that old world ruins might have answers for him. But over the course of his journey, the moments he's learned the most have been when he or the others have reached for a connection to the Veiled Gods for themselves (as with when he got a vision of golden light on Brixton's face) or when he's leaned into his instincts to help others (the ominous prophesy the boy he healed gave him). And in this moment, he applied that instinct to heal to the guardian of a font of natural power in a haunted wood, and successfully drove out the Umbral darkness that had been sickening it. Idyl's answers have always been inwards, in looking towards the connections people can make to the gods and leaning on his own instincts, rather than being something that are waiting for him at a set location.

I’ma be your Idyl ✨
I love that Skreev asking Idyl "Where have you been all this time that you're so anxious?" is just flat out calling him sheltered in different words.
