Recently started watching Fruits Basket and Tohru reminds me a lot of Mayu. Was she a possible inspiration for her character?
she actually isn't! though you're not the first person to think so & i definitely can tell the resemblance π and thinking about her three stooges I realized they literally match animals from fruits basket: orange cat, tiger, and snake - crazy coincidence, imagine TWST but fruits basket AU /j
(also in terms of childhood classics, i actually took some inspiration from sakura (card captor sakura) for mayu if anyone can tell ww)
