‘Eiko Ojala is a renowned illustrator and graphic designer. He is based between Estonia and New Zealand. He works mostly digitally and draws everything by hand. Within his work process Eiko likes to study the forms of shapes and to work closely with light and shadow. He likes to keep his illustrations minimal and well-advised and combines consummate craftsmanship with a healthy sprinkling of wit.’

In all honesty, I was not confident in the final designs of my business cards. This was simply due to the fact that I did not consider it a priority and therefore rushed the final outcome. In the coming future, I hope to explore more options, exploring outcomes both digitally and physically.

However, it is vital to grasp understanding, as other practitioners and agencies will be viewing this profile in the coming future. They may also make their first impressions of my work through this profile, and so it should effectively encompass my vision, and work.

I found this profile to be quite striking, it has an overall clean and fresh look; quite innovative to the majority of profiles I have viewed. As well, all areas are easily accessible.

This is yet another clean and simple profile. His name, and profession is clearly displayed on his profile. Often keeping a simple, and straightforward portfolio can prove to be more enticing.

We’ve worked with founder Duncan to bring its community-focused ethos to the fore, combining our original ‘big D’ brand identity with super-tasty can designs and a graphic style that reflects both its East London origins and young, switched-on consumers.
