December 6th, 2022: Double congratulations are in order! Ichihiro (市紘) of Hiroshimaya (廣島屋) in Gion Kobu is celebrating her erikae while Ichiyuri (市優里) of Yamaguchi (やまぐち) in Pontocho is celebrating her misedashi! Ichihiro is Ichiyuri (市有里) of Gion Kobu’s third imōto to have an erikae while Ichiyuri of Pontocho is Ichisayo (市さよ)’s sixth imōto! Ichihiro’s outfit features bold rocks and pine with cranes (the cranes are along the back) with a golden karabana obi while Ichiyuri’s outfit features waves and all season motifs in squares with an obi of pine and shippō ^^ おめでとうさんどす市紘さんと市優里ちゃん ^o^!
