I listed a few obiage/obijime lots today. Each obijime set is coordinated with the obiage so you can choose the feeling of your outfit more easily.

I've listed a bunch of obiage, obiage + obijime sets, and two children's obiage since last night. I think I have one more children's obiage in bright red but I'm going to measure to be sure. All measurements of obiage are approximate because of how shibori distorts the fabric. <3 But I do try to figure out closest figures.

I have been bidding on obiage foreeeevvveeerrr, normally the non-shibori kind. I mostly wear flat weaves but this time decided to buy shibori because most of it is either "fake" (printed) kanoko pattern or made by machines. Vintage obiage are small works featuring handmade shibori.

Every single time, for YEARS, I have been out of money for "fun shit," didn't have enough for winning the auction, wasn't watching the end, whatever. So I would bid as high as I could afford on 3-5 lots and lose them all.

Idk what happened this week but. I... WON them all. All of them. 40 obiage, 4 lots. I was expecting 1 or None.

Most are likely from Heisei but could be Showa. Good fabric lasts forever if you take care of it.

I'm listing them for what I paid + ebay fees.

One benefit is that I can check condition, which they do not do for lots like this. I have no idea if anything will be stained, frayed, or otherwise damaged when I get it. You will be told ahead of time.

You pay weighed shipping with ebay discounted shipping. The more you buy at once, the cheaper shipping generally gets by weight. Plus, ebay discounts postage prices, whereas if I just took it to the mail I'd have to pay more.

I think I will be listing approx. 18 of them. Perhaps a few more from the ones I already own, as I replace things.

The box says "kuro no irodori" 'black hues'. Plant-dyed in Saga.

A black silk obiage and obijime. The obiage is made of tango crepe silk pongee fabric with cool touch and the obijime is hand-woven.

I got these for a mere €20 from Vinted, which is a pretty good price.
