Just wanted to pop by to say thank you for all your recaps!! (I share Snark Wars with my husband, too, but it’s just more like he lives with me, and I am often making fun of Star Wars, so he’s gonna hear about it whether he wants to or not, hahahaha. 😂) (As an aside, right after I first bought the domain name I needed him to help test something for me, and so I was like “...anyways I bought a domain name for my ridiculous Star Wars blog, can you check something? It’s s-n-a-r-k-w-a-r-s dot com.” And he’s typing, and he goes “wait, it’s what?” and I go “It’s Snark Wars!” like all excitedly and he was like “Wow, I’m genuinely surprised that was available” and I was like “I KNOW!” 😂 Yes, we are nerds.)

I love your post about enriching your cat's life indoors and with outdoor harness walks! My main hesitation for taking my cat outside is being worried about fleas etc that he could pick up - but do you find that to actually be an issue? I haven't asked my vet yet but I'm also not sure even what to ask! Thank you for all your kitty advice, you have so many wonderfully helpful posts 🥰
Oh thank you, I’m glad you enjoy them! :) I’m honestly thrilled to have a kitty like Phoebe who enjoys going outside so much & all the enrichment we have for her (and Shilo too)!
We haven’t been too worried about fleas or had an issue with it because we treat the cats with monthly preventative. With the dogs in the house, it’s a good idea to anyway, and I would definitely suggest doing so if you wanna take your kitty out. We use Revolution, which you can get from your vet. Revolution also guards against heartworm, hookworm, roundworm, and ear mites, so you’ll be covered against multiple types of pests, just in case.
Good luck with harness training your kitty, I hope they enjoy going outside if you take them! ♥
