heyo, ⌛. I'm the person who makes some justice for gauge posts because I and many others think what happened is heinous. gauge himself literally does not post here, you act like he wasn't cared for by this community and it makes me sick. folk like you likely think those who spoke in grief for icebee's banning all those years ago [a child questioning the same things onsite] were just alt accounts. gauge is very beloved by the community and has many friends. people saw and hate what happened.

Okay, I know this is only partially related, but am I misunderstanding? Why is everyone talking like IceBee got hard nuked like gauge and dtsuga did? Yeah, they were banned from the Discord (Which I wholeheartedly deem unfair, don't get it twisted) but they WEREN'T banned from the site. They self-banned. I very very specifically remember them giving away their Icelandic before self-banning. It was at one point named IceBee by the user that had it, but it isn't anymore so I unfortunately can't try and find where it is. Yes, they were unfairly banned from the Discord, but not the site.

🧀 the way it all could've been solved by talking to them to clear things up but staff just didn't think to do it, i guess. i'm probably reaching here, but it's funny timing that they banned demigodandroid as soon as they stopped buying diamond dust & started posting in the forums about how gambling mechanics with real-life money in a children's game is weird. the father (gauge/dtsuga), the son (demigodandroid), & the holy spirit (icebee) of unfair goatlings bans

remember when icebee got banned for a really mild reason and there were so many people speaking up about it being wrong that mods couldn't ban every single person discussing it or else they'd look bad. we need another "state of goatlings" type thread because clearly we're right back to instabanning anyone who has a less-than-positive take on how the site is run

👙 Food for thought but I think the IceBee incident + Jawbreaker's thread proved that if enough of us post about something onsite/in the discord they literally can't ban us all, if for no other reason then "it will look bad" and "there isn't a good way to cover up a mass-ban of that scale"

🚦 thank you! glas has been begging on every pet site they have for at least ten years. I agree that kids should be allowed to be annoying, but that's not a kid. Also, it's pretty hypocritical for the people of this blog to take this stance. Remember Wolfie? Hyacinthian? Even icebee, before they spoke up and got banned. Don't act like this blog is a space of tolerance for kids being cringe when there's countless asks anonymously picking on minors for being "annoying". Come on.
