oooooooooh ok ok ok! so i have this headcanon of mine/this vivid image in my head of Alex and Henry walking in a nearby park at night in NY all bundled up to keep them warm from the autumn chill and they’re holding hands, just enjoying the beautiful night and each other’s company after being away from each other for a week, Alex in DC working with Rafa and Henry having been in the UK doing his princely duties. A little ways into the park, they reach a part where there’s a bench and a lamppost and with Henry lost in thought, in a story he’s telling Alex..........Alex lets Henry’s hand go and it isn’t until Henry takes a few steps when he stops and notices his hand is empty and he turns around and sees Alex standing there behind him with something in his hand. Henry freezes and watches as Alex walks towards him and stops a step away and clears his throat saying, “Henry, mi amor.”
It’s then when he gets down on one knee and Henry, his heart pound in his chest, tears in his eyes watches as Alex looks up at him and then opens the small ring box and there, a silver band lays and he pops the question.
