He paid for it. Itās yours. All we do is receive it. Thank You, Father!Ā
7/29/15ā²s AMAZED: The New Testament = We CAN
Verse of the year: You have filled me with joy, and happiness has risen in my heart, great delight and unrivaled joy⦠In shalom I will both lie down and sleep, for You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.ā (Psalm 4:7-8 JCV)
Listening to: The Health-Giving Power of a Relaxed Heart
āAs it is written: "I have made you a father of many nations." He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed--the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not.ā Romans 4:17 NIV
AMPLIFIED: As it is written, I have made you the father of many nations. [He was appointed our father] in the sight of God in Whom he believed, Who gives life to the dead and speaks of the nonexistent things that [He has foretold and promised] as if they [already] existed.ā
Original Greek for ācallsā: καλĪĻ / kaleÅ (kal-ehā-o)
Akin to the base of G2753*; to ācallā (properly aloud, but used in a variety of applications, directly or otherwise)
Thayer: 1) to call 1a) to call aloud, utter in a loud voice 1b) to invite 2) to call i.e. to name, by name 2a) to give a name to 2a1) to receive the name of, receive as a name 2a2) to give some name to one, call his name 2b) to be called i.e. to bear a name or title (among men) 2c) to salute one by name
But itās not simply a, āIām going to say this. Iām going to speak this thing to you guys.ā Itās stronger than that. The words have weight. Clout. Check out the word kaleo is compared to as being āakin to the baseā of this word:
*G2753: Strongās: κελεĻĻ / keleuÅ (kel-yooā-o)
"hail"; to incite by word, i.e. order
Thayer: 1) to command, to order From a primary word ĪŗĪĪ»Ī»Ļ kellÅ (to urge on); āhailā; to incite by word, that is, order G2753/keleuo is used 27 times in the NT. Examples: 1st mention: 18When Jesus saw the crowd around him, he gave orders (other translations: commanded) to cross to the other side of the lake. (Matthew 8:18) 2nd mention: The king was distressed, but because of his oaths and his dinner guests, he ordered that her request be granted 10and had John beheaded in the prison. (Matthew 14:9) 3rd mention: 18āBring them here to me,ā he said. 19And he directed the people to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people. (Matthew 14:19)
So we can see that the word, kaleo, especially when understanding where it comes from via keleuo, is not a casual statement spoken like, āthe sun is yellowā or āitās hot in hereā. Itās an order. Itās a command. Itās words given with weight, with expectation that what has been said WILL be accomplished. The people who keleuo/commanded weren't ordinary people. It was Jesus, Peter telling JESUS to direct him to do something, the king, Pilate, the priests, the captain of the temple and the Sadducees, Phillip, Herod, and so on. ALL of those uses had to do with people of clout. Who knew the words they spoke MOVED things. Sent people into action. āØāØGod wants us to see this as a reminder/refresher regarding what Heās been telling us about speaking to the mountain, whatever the current mountain/s may be. Kids. Work. Home stuff. Health. Wisdom. Whatever.
āā¦Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, āMove from here to there,ā and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.ā ~Jesus, Matthew 17:20
Strongās says: į¼ĻĪĻ an alternate for G2036 in certain tenses; to utter, i.e. speak or say
but look at what Dodson adds:
Dodson: į¼Ļεῶ I say, speak (denoting speech in progress), (a) I say, speak; I mean, mention, tell, (b) I call, name, especially in the pass., (c) I tell, command.
Our only necessity is to take His word for it: to believe that what He says, He means. If He says He has given us His power through Jesus, thatās our faith. Then we say/speak/command it to be. Our foundation for the weight of these words isnāt us. Our foundation for the concreteness of the words we speak arenāt even whether we think we should be saying them. Our foundation is simply JESUS.
The less weāre out of the picture, the better. The more we speak those words because they are truth and our blood-bought right to speak, our inheritance to claim, the more weāre going to see them manifest in our lives. The verse before God giving life to the dead and speaking of the nonexistent things as they already exist?
16 Therefore, [inheriting] the promise is the outcome of faith and depends [entirely] on faith, in order that it might be given as an act of grace (unmerited favor), to make it stable and valid and guaranteed to all his descendantsānot only to the devotees and adherents of the Law, but also to those who share the faith of Abraham, who is [thus] the father of us all.
17 As it is written, I have made you the father of many nations. [He was appointed our father] in the sight of God in Whom he believed, Who gives life to the dead and speaks of the nonexistent things that [He has foretold and promised] as if they [already] existed. (Romans 4, AMP)
Yesterday, I was getting ready to run some errands, and felt the Lord telling me to grab a CD to listen to in the car. I reached toward the box, and even though none of the titles or anything showed, one cover in particular stood out more than the rest, so I grabbed it. āØāØIt was The Health-Giving Power of a Relaxed Heart. At the very beginning, two testimonies are read: One is about someone being healed after receiving communion; the other is about someone who began to speak to her āconditionā that it was under grace and it went away. Both really spoke to me, as Heās really reminding us of the importance of communion and had already been showing me that He wanted us to go over that He āspeaks of the nonexistent things as though they already existedā and that we, therefore, also have that same power.
Remember last week? In Matthew 6, as Jesus led them through a prayer, He Himself was even speaking something that technically didnāt fully exist for them yet as though it already did. He Himself had come to fulfill everything and become all of those things.
Letās look at Matthew 17:20 again:
20He replied, āBecause you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, āMove from here to there,ā and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.ā (original Greek link)
NOTHING: oudeis and outheis, oudemia, ouden and outhen: no one, none Original Word: Īæį½Ī“είĻ, Īæį½Ī“εμία, Īæį½Ī“Īν Part of Speech: Adjective Transliteration: oudeis and outheis, oudemia, ouden and outhen Phonetic Spelling: (oo-dice') Short Definition: no one, none, nothing Definition: no one, none, nothing. HELPS Word-studies: 3762 oudeĆs (from 3756 /ou "no, not" and 1520 /heĆs, "one") ā properly, not one; no one, nothing. 3762 /oudeĆs ("no one, nothing at all") is a powerful negating conjunction. It rules out by definition, i.e. "shuts the door" objectively and leaves no exceptions. 3762 (oudeĆs) is deductive in force so it excludes every (any) example that is included withing the premise (supposition). [3762 /oudeĆs ("not one, none") categorically excludes, declaring as a fact that no valid example exists.] āØāØāØSo, what will be impossible, again? Things too big? Too heavy? To impossible for doctors? Things way too difficult to fix with loved ones because well, we just canāt deal with the drama anymore? Emotions? Those really, really deep, hurt feelings? That broken bone that just ISNāT going to fix itself?āØāØ NOPE. NOTHING. THERE IS NO VALID EXAMPLE that anything will be impossible for you if you believe His word is true.
Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, āMove from here to there,ā and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.ā
Think, for a moment, about this: āØāØ There are over 138,000 words in the New Testament.āØāØ Of those approximately 138,000 words, the word Ī“Ļ Ī½Ī±ĻĻĻ/dunatos (possible) is used 35 times, and the root word for *that* word, Ī“Ļναμαι/dunamai, which is where Ī“Ļ Ī½Ī±ĻĻĻ/ is derived and also means possible/capable, is used 201 times. So those two words for possible, alone, are used 235 times. (And thatās just the literal, specific word saying you are able, capable, it is possible, ect.)
Impossible in Matthew 17:20 : į¼Ī“Ļ Ī½Ī±ĻĪĻ / adunateÅ (ad-oo-nat-ehā-o)
From G102; to be unable, that is, (passively) impossible
Do you know how many times the word impossible from Matthew 17:20 is used? TWO.
1st instance: Matthew 17:20, āTruly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, āMove from here to there,ā and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.ā
2nd:āØāØ For with God, any utterance shall not be impossible. Luke 1:37, Greek interlinear translation
Utterance:
Dodson: ῤįæĪ¼Ī± a thing spoken a thing spoken, (a) a word or saying of any kind, as command, report, promise, (b) a thing, matter, business.
Strong's: įæ„įæĪ¼Ī± an utterance (individually, collectively or specially),; by implication, a matter or topic (especially of narration, command or dispute); with a negative naught whatever
WHOA. If you believe His word to be true, NO ONE, NOTHING, EVERYTHING IS RULED OUT, THE DOOR HAS BEEN SHUT, THERE IS NO VALID EXAMPLE that anything will be impossible, for with God, any utterance (command, word, sayingāthis is what we started out todayās study with, only that form of speaking had a bit more oomph or weight behind it) shall not be impossible. āØāØWhich basically means, with God, any utterance will be POSSIBLE!!!! HALLELUJAH!āØāØ
But letās go back to the word impossible: remember how many times possible was used? 236. How many times was IMpossible used? 2.
Okay, so letās look at the root to see where *that* word, (į¼Ī“Ļ Ī½Ī±ĻĪĻ / G101), came from (į¼Ī“ĻναĻĪæĻ / G102). Surely itās used more than twice, right? I mean, with over 200 āpossiblesā⦠⨠G102:⨠Dodson: į¼Ī“ĻναĻĪæĻ incapable, impossible of persons: incapable; of things: impossible; either the inability, or that which is impossible. Strong's: į¼Ī“ĻναĻĪæĻ unable, i.e. weak (literally or figuratively); passively, impossible⨠į¼Ī“ĻναĻĪæĻ Ā is usedā¦
Youāre going to laugh. Are you ready?
TEN times. āØāØHAHAHA! The root word for impossible is the number of law in the Bible!!!!!⨠And even then, with the main word combined with the root, itāsĀ only used 12 times.
12 vs. 236.āØāØ WOW.
Before we finish, now that we see the legalistic tie to the impossible versus the restful tie of simple belief and speaking His words to the possible, I have to share the first mention of impossible. Itās actually ALSO the very first mention of possible!!! Are you ready? āØāØMatthew 19:26 Jesus looked at them and said, āWith man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.ā
With man, this is impossible.
With us doing things on our own, this is impossible. With us trying to earn or receive via the law, via mandates, via performance, via doing, THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE.
But with God, ALL things are possible. This here is the genuine #IcannotbutHEcan. āØWith God as your qualifier, with God giving you THE Qualifier--JESUS--, ALL (pas: the whole, everything) IS possible. āØIn the Old Testament/Covenant, receiving from God was all about what we canāt do.
In the New Testament/Covenant, receiving from God is all about what we CAN do.
Itās about the possibilities. Itās about believing His word, and that being enough.āØāØToday Heās telling us to speak grace to our mountains. To speak His promises to our lives. To command not only the mountain to be moved, but grace to it, His life to it. To tell it where to go, what to do, how itās not part of your blood-bought inheritance, because Jesus paid for that right and gave it to us as our inheritance when He took everything for us on that cross. That is our Christ Identity. Because of Him, we qualify for it! (If youāre not sure what to say, or donāt feel the Holy Spirit specifically leading you in those commands, do it in your heavenly language!)
Thank You, Abba Father, for sending your AMAZING Son to give us the power to speak Your words into fruition! You speak things that are ānotāĀ into existence, and because the Holy Spirit is inside us, we too have that very same power!Ā
EVERY GOOD GIFT FROM THE FATHER IS YOURS
Ā (be blessed by the following recent letter from PP): āā¦I no longer count on my own righteousness through obeying the law; rather, I become righteous through faith in Christ. For Godās way of making us right with himself depends on faith.ā Philippians 3:9, NLT
Iām excited to show you something beautiful about your inheritance in Christ Jesus, and I want you to know how this inheritance can powerfully impact your life.
As I look around at the body of Christ, I see many who are constantly struggling. Theyāve lost their joy, they lack energy and enthusiasm, and they seem to be just barely getting by.
Theyāre trying their best to live their idea of the Christian life, but it seems the harder they try, the more they struggle.
For me, this is difficult to watch, because these are believers who love God, but theyāve not yet learned how to live in the fullness of His best. I see them living under the burden of trying to earn Godās favor rather than enjoying the benefits of receiving their inheritance from Him.
Beloved, God has something so much better in store for His people. Thatās why Iām writing you today. I want you to see thatā¦
Youāve been given more than a ājust get-byā life.
You are meant to experience something better than āaverageā or āordinary.ā You are a joint heir with Christ and every good gift from the Father is yours! The Apostle Paul tells us in Ephesians 1:3 that the Father, through our Lord Jesus Christ, āhas blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christā¦ā (emphasis added).
Notice that God has already blessed us! Heās not going to bless us one fine day; Heās not waiting for us to earn His blessings before He releases them into our lives. He has already blessed us with āevery spiritual blessing.ā
Is there sickness in your body or lack in your circumstances today? Being blessed with every spiritual blessing means you have access to and every right to enjoy Godās healing, provision, and wisdom today!
Want to find out how you can experience all these things manifesting in your life? Look at what our Lord Jesus Himself said in Matthew 6:33.
āBut seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to youāĀ
To have all these things added to you, the Bible says you are to prioritize just one thing: Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness.
In other words, when you pursue His righteousness, and when you prioritize being established in the gift of righteousness that the Lord has purchased for you, you will receive every blessing you have in Christāhealing, provision, wisdom, favor, strength, rest, and every blessing stored up for the righteous!
Now, notice that the Lord doesnāt tell us to seek āall these things.ā Our focus is to be on Him and His righteousness.
When you seek His righteousness, blessings will follow!
Beloved, this is the greatest way to receive your inheritance through righteousness-consciousness. When you spend time with Jesus, the blessings of God will be attracted to you.
Seek His righteousness, and healing will come. Seek His righteousness, and provision will follow. Seek His righteousness, and peace and joy will flow in your life. Seek His righteousness and reign in life!
Remember, the blessings and benefits of God are available to you, not because of anything you have or havenāt done, but because of what Jesus has done on your behalf!
Look to Jesus today and celebrate your righteousness in Him. Youāll be amazed at how your life will change when you do.
