MUSIIIC!! 5, 13, 20, 23, 30?
No one will mind if I end up breaking the rules and talking about more than one song right
5. A song that needs to be played LOUD
I had a friend send me this and at first I laughed but then I realized it actually kind of goes ridiculously hard
13. One of your favorite 80s songs
There's so many 80s songs, when it comes to art all of history is the present as far as I'm concerned, and I never pay attention to when a song was released when I fall in love with it, so I actually had to look through my library to remember that Hallelujah (the ORIGINAL version by Leonard Cohen btw) is an 80s song and isn't just a work of art so irreproachable and eternal it exists outside of time, has always been and always will be.
Subways Of Your Mind is also an 80s song that I forgot was an "80s song" because I never think about that as a Thing. 1984 just went off
20. A song that has many meanings to you
Men of Wood continues to be a puzzle to me and I have various incomplete interpretations but ugh I love when I don't understand something
I have two interpretations of Illusion & Dream, one of which is someone else's they told me about that I strongly agree with while the other is something very very specific to my personal experiences and neither of which are what the song's actually probably about
And finally I know what Starlight is actually officially about but to me it's about something else way different.
23. A song that you think everybody should listen to
Everyone should listen to every song ever. But I will always take an opportunity to push Ibbur again, an artist so undiscovered they're not even on YouTube anymore (PLEASE), and for those who would prefer someone whose music can be found on streaming platforms back on my bullshit I am once again asking you to try Arockalypse and/or Monofader (sorry yes I know that's three songs and the question says "a")
30. A song that reminds you of yourself
This song and I understand each other in a way that can't be semantically defined
This song is literally me (Spotify link because the versions available on YouTube aren't the one that's literally me)
