A/n:sorry if this isn't great but it's already hard to write for a silent protagonist and even more when that protagonist is canonically pretty apathetic and aloof
Dating ib isn't...the easiest thing mostly because of one thing: she doesn't really show her emotions often, her expression rarely changes and she doesn't speak much so it's hard to understand what she's thinking of most of the time
She mostly agrees or denies with what you say with a nod or a shake of her head or a small yes or no, so conversations with her really aren't interesting but she tries her best to give more in depth answers if it's with you
A positive that comes from her quiet disposition is that she's a really good listener, she'll listen to you vent about anything and not complain at all....or say that much for that matter, she hopes that a hug can comfort you and most of the times it does
Another good side of that is that she remembers almost everything about you that you tell her, she has a really good memory and especially when it comes to you, she doesn't bring it up often but whenever she does you're very surprised by how well she remembers what you told her
You mostly hang out together at art galleries (hoping you don't fall into a painting) or picking red roses for each other or just playing together with Mary while Garry makes sure nothing goes wrong. Ib really likes hanging out with all her friends but she definitely doesn't mind going out with you alone
