Many stop giving because they believe they're not good enough. They stop acting, because they believe hypocrisy runs through their veins. They give up, because it becomes too hard to resist. They fall, because it's initially easier to be broken than to fix themselves.

They forget the wise keep improving, because they know they're so imperfect. They focus on pleasing Allah 'azza wa jal, the One free of all imperfections. They keep implementing, even when they miss a prayer, or two, or when they become angry and lose their ground - because they know they have an enemy, Shaytan, whom they must overcome. They never give up, because, if they do - what else will they have left? Who else will aid them when the ones they love, let them down? 

They rise on a continuous basis because really, they have understood that they have no choice. 

It's a race and it ends at the final destination Jannah, insha Allah. Some reach it, others give up, or they never started the race in the first place, they aren't willing to train, nor put themselves forward because they believed they aren't good enough. However, some races are too big to let go, this is the ultimate challenge. If we refuse to run, we'll live in sorrow, or when running we'll become lost in the crowd, unable to find way to the finish line. And if we do return back to the straight road - a state many of us are in, we'll be confused, lost, wondering how do we find the path back home - the answer lies in the map, the Qur'an and Sunnah. It lies in determination, Istiqamah. It lies in nutrition, tazkiyah.

It lies in never giving up until death does us part.

And this is the solution to everything, building a foundation through the Qur'an and Sunnah, holding on to the correct means of worshiping Allah. It lies in purifying ourselves on a daily basis to remove our flaws so we can be be the best of the best.
