One of Save81′s favorite talking points these days is that after receiving 7500 comments during the recent comment period, the DOT is “out to bid” or “has begun the formal bidding process.” The latter is less inflammatory. But the truth has been stretched. Whilst the DOT is trying to find out which firms can do the work on the I-81 viaduct project, it would be illegal for them to solicit bids or sign contracts until after the environmental review process is done. And thanks to all the comments they received, that process won’t be done until early next year, with the Final Environmental Impact Statement and the Record of Decision.
Why does traffic on I-81 always have to be so bad? I’ve been in standstill traffic for the past 45 minutes... before that I was in standstill traffic for over an hour. It’s ridiculous for an interstate to have traffic this bad.

This toilet seems to operate by slowly dripping the bubbles down instead of a big flush. It may be very sudsy clean and even water saving, but it's doing it constantly and sounds weird, and gives an odd atmosphere. So the points for constant cleaning and maybe water conservation are just all blown away by the creep factor. But definitely better than a lot of public toilets... or no toilet at all.
