Mom: You're too melodramatic.

Tons of things.  I remember getting stuck in the middle of the lake, having fallen off the jetski with my dad and started to panic over it.  I remember him teasing me and asking “Daisy, what is the worst thing that could happen?”  And me snarking back, “We get stuck out here until we starve to death and DIE!!”  He laughed at me and then we figured out how to get back on the damn thing and made it back to shore.  (For the record, I did not think that would actually happen.  We were in life jackets no more than a half mile from shore.  It was a busy, well traveled lake and we could have been picked up by a boat easily.)
