why people likes to compare? i feel so offended suddenly, and please don’t get me wrong but, it's like that today i remembered some comments about who is better, either Oasis or Blur, and then my brother insisted to compare my old computer with my new laptop! (again about who has better capacity) In both cases are things that I love too much, it’s okay, I know it’s silly mix these things (bands and computers) but they all mean a lot to me! and it makes me feel sick that people wants to raise one of them and disparage the other. I respect that there are different opinions and tastes, but PLEASE KEEP THOSE COMPARISONS AWAY FROM ME. *explodes*

The River.
After browsing the internet to see if The River would have a second season I am left upset and anxious. It is said that it is very likely ABC will cancel the show. I watched this show every single tuesday along with several other people I know. I loved the show and it always had me at the edge of my seat and itching for more. So trying to do something about it I commented on several websites and wrote a note to ABC. One thing I happened to notice frequently however, was that everyone kept comparing it to the show Lost. Now, I have never seen Lost but I have heard it was quite a popular series. But really? can we not compare the shows and let them be recognized individually. I find that comparisons are often (what's the word I'm looking for?) depreciating? The River is obviously not Lost. I think it should get more credit and more of a chance. So stop putting it down because it doesn't live up to your expectations from watching Lost. It's kinda like animals, usually you'll always have a special thing for your first pet, and while you will love your later ones, it will never be the same as the first. Well that's about all I got for this rant. Long Live The River!Â
