The church clearly has seen better days....but given how the world of Fabrist was previously a war-zone... it's faired rather well. A single hole on the back right corner lets in natural light onto the altar. A smattering of debris along some of the right side, onto some of the front pews, blocking some of the space. The Statue of the Emperor, de-armed, but still standing defiantly, His other hand resting atop His resting blade. Besides the whole, there was no other light or sound. The peace and quiet of a battlefield when the guns are quiet...mixed with that gothic silence expected of a sacred place. But sitting in one of the pews was a woman. Sitting just outside of the beam of light, still her features stood out. Platinum hair, the garb of some kind of authority, perhaps noble? military? Hard to tell from this angle. By the base of the statue, she seemed to look, where a single plate sat, with a single stick of incense burns. It looks half done. If she heard Ekrem enter, she did not react to it.

Some OC name changes
Ok, since I've found better names, the goddesses Hysmine and Mirissa have new names now
Hysmine -> Heimirica - basically a fancy spelled female form of Henry, which essentially means "ruler of the home". It suits her perfectly being originally a goddess of the hearth.
Mirissa -> Oneira - From oneiros, Greek word for dream and also the word for personifications of dreams. Her old name was chosen just to match with her daughter Miria (Maria, Marissa)
However, I won't completely retire their old names since I got too used to them. They'll simply end up as their respective husbands' personal nicknames for them.
For Heimirica, Manetho was trying to compare her to the Hysminai as a compliment to her fighting prowess as goddess of war. However, she misunderstood it as him comparing her to a jasmine flower, which she found flattering. The misunderstanding was eventually clarified but the nickname stuck.
For Oneira, prior to her wedding with Eidolon, she appeared to him in a dream as a human woman named Mirissa in order to test the man that her father has chosen to be her groom. When they met in person, the now blind Eidolon recognized her voice and called out to her as Mirissa. Oneira, being a bit of a trickster, played along. Eidolon eventually learned of her actual name but simply thought it was her "formal name" as a princess and did not think of it as trickery

I haven't posted here in a while. Moving homes has been a bit hectic.
Anyway, managed to atleast get a rough sketch of Hysmine in mortal form. Which reminds me, I have yet to come up with an actual name for her. Hysmine is just a nickname that Manetho calls her.
